I woke up an hour ago with contractions and then I got hungry and now I can't sleep. Pregnancy is for the birds.
I have a whole bunch of car stuff going on today - I need to take mine in for service, and then I'm taking Dan's in to get detailed. His car is disgusting, so I'm hopeful they can make it somewhat acceptable? I'm worried my hopes are too high, though. Maybe we should just get new cars ;P
@uwhuskygirl I had a lot of fun last night. The salon had a mix up and didn't tell my stylist that I had rsvp'd, so I wound up working with another stylist. He was super sweet and worked with me on how to curl my hair. The blowout lasted nicely, I just had to go through and re-curl this morning.
H is still waiting to hear about the 2nd job. Company B has till 10am then he will sign the offer for company A. We are both on pins and needles but trying not to get hopes up.
I'm so looking forward to my first weekend at home in a month and a half. I have a 12 mile run planned with my running buddy, kiddo duty at church and a 1st birthday party for my favorite cw's kid. We need to go visit grandma too. I'm hoping to make the gtg too, but my car is in the shop still and if we are getting it back/returning the rental at that time tomorrow it won't work. Hopefully it will though.
@uwhuskygirl I'm really impressed that you made it in for training this morning after being up so late. I'm all for getting up and being productive in the AM but not if I was out past bedtime!!

Good morning! M is now in Bham, which means we went out for sushi last night in Issaquah (my favorite place and OMG it was SO GOOD), and then went to Ikea. We bought two book cases (Hemnes in brown-black), and a couple bathroom rugs (not sure I love them, but they'll do for now), and some other random stuff like magazine boxes for J, a step-stool for M for the bathroom, and of course some Swedish Fish.
And, because @uwhuskygirl asked, baby is doing great! Growing right on schedule, and we've been officially cleared of any IUGR worries. He passed his NST with flying colors, even though he slept through half of it LOL. But I am apparently contracting a lot, as the nurse pointed out. Regardless, he handled them fine. And then my OB declared me 1cm dilated and 50% effaced. Which isn't much, but it's progress! So... likely, baby will be here in a couple of weeks. EEP!
Good morning! I stopped by my old office and grabbed boxes this morning so we can start packing.
Tonight I think we're going to dinner and tomorrow I have a bunch of errands to run. We may end up at Whaling Days or Aquafest (two completely different locations) this weekend, too...but we'll see.
Good morning! I'm so happy it's Friday! I've decided I am WAY too glued to my phone. So I've decided to keep my phone in my purse all day, and not check it every 10 minutes.
Tonight, I have a girls night with a bunch of friends. Sadly, I'm kind of dreading it. I'm really struggling with one of the girls going - we've been friends forever. Like 30 years. But after a falling out we had a few months ago, things are definitely not the same. I can't get over it. Which is not at all like me. But... I'm struggling, and seriously thinking ending the friendship may be for the best.
Tomorrow, just hanging out with another friend and her little baby.
Sunday, a BBQ wih some friends.
Overall, a pretty good weekend planned. If I can just get through tonight!
I had lots of contractions the week before they induced me and it still took a week!
Also the title just makes me start singing this...
Anyway last night sucked. BabyLefty slept 4 hours in like 40 minute increments. Bleh. No wonder he has so many rolls! We are off to breakfast with a friend in a few minutes. Then I plan to nap
The kitchen has been a complete disaster since last weekend - like, unusable disaster and we were out of spoons. So I tackled that when I got home and H helped so now it's 3/4 done and I'll finish it tonight. By the time it was useable to make dinner, I was out of steam so just had a microwave burrito Finished my WoT book and H had already ordered my Deborah Harkness book (aww) so I get to start that today! Plans for tonight are to finish up that kitchen. INSANELY busy day tomorrow: GTG brunch, then rush home and pack for the overnight, H and I have dentist appointments in Ballard and then up to a friend's property in Snohomish for an outdoor movie/campover party.

I knew my boss was tied up today playing Mr. Dad, so I'm screwing off between meetings. I have a chiropractic appointment in a bit then headed to get a mani/pedi and some threading done.
Weekend plans include enjoying having the house guest free!

TGIF! I realized today that I have plans on every Saturday and Sunday until October. Tonight I'm meeting friends for drinks. Saturday H and I are brewing beer, then I'm going wine tasting, should be a saucy day! Sunday we're going to a BBQ/Doggie Play Date.

If all your plans are like that until October then you're going to need either a trip to Betty Ford or a liver detox!

I just might have to follow your advice, since at least half of the plans involve bachelorette parties, Seafair stuff, bridal showers, weddings, and football.

Maybe we can share a room at Betty Ford? We're in the same boat except one Saturday in September. I'm also going to need the biggest loser camp at some point.

I got to play nurse to one of our friends that H works with when he got his wisdom's pulled today. It was sadly uneventful. He did well though, and was a good patient for most of the day.
