Can anyone recommend a light beige color that goes well w/venetian gold granite counters? Cabinets are dove white, hardware satin nickel. I'm thinking of something between beige & cream, and a bit warmer than taupe. Maybe yellow undertones.
I was originally planning on a colorin the green family but I think my kitchen is too imbalanced. The area near the counters just has a the bulk heads and a little wall, but the adjacent area near the table has so much more wall showing. Given the imbalance of wall space, I'm thinking a more neutral color would work best. Plus, there's a lot going on in the kitchen, so disappearing walls is probably best. Does that seems like sound reasoning?
I've been going through some books on colors, e.g., BM Papaya, BM grant biege, SW whole wheat, etc.

We have Benjamin Moore Cotswold in the dining room and are hoping to carry it through into the kitchen. I feel like it's a nice, warm beige. I've had two different people knock on my front door to ask me what color it was because they saw it through the window from the street!
I don't think the online swatches do it justice...
