I'm excited that I get to do Christmas my way this year. No family is coming, and we aren't travelling this year, so I get to be in complete control! I've had to go to MIL's every year for the last 9 years.
I know it's awful, but I'm really hoping that family just buys off a wishlist or sends money. We always end up bringing home a ton of little dollar store crap.
I want to start doing this:
Something you want, Something you need, Something to wear, Something to read.
That still makes 20 presents under the tree, plus little fun stuff in stockings and Christmas PJs. I've already started thinking about what is going to fit in those categories.

Anyone already thinking of Christmas ideas? I think my parents are going to buy C a toddler friendly ipad. We are thinking about a big ride on car/truck.

I'm going to get both girls sleeping bags, and then so far for V magnatiles and doctor kit, and for R PBK chair, name stool. That's all I've got.

I've thought about Christmas presents! For D he is Getting some sort of tot clock for sure. I'm also getting him (them) an easel and art supplies. All I have planned specifically for A right now is an A&A dream blanket.
We are refinishing our basement this fall and I planning to do a really fun play area for them, maybe a chalk board wall, a little tent/fort space etc and we are planning to makes this table for them. I was going to get him a train table but I like this better as he can use it for many things and it has tons of storage. We already have 2/4 of the storage thingies so we just need two more and a large sheet of wood/mdf to make the table.

Omg get out of my head girl! We are redoing the basement now and this is my plan too! I am hoping to make a train table they can eventually play Lego's on. I love this one, do you have a link? I am still painting the playroom but here is the chalkboard wall!

The link to that picture is dead but the storage thingies are from ikea, their trofast collection. We have them in white www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/80153800/ because they're cheaper and I didn't love the wood ones anyway. You need 4 of these and then a large piece of wood/mdf for the top. I'm just going to have H router the edge so it's rounded and I'll paint it.
