Miss E decided she was a night owl tonight and wouldn't settle until last 11. I think she had an unresolved burp or was just hyper aware of her surroundings tonight. I hope she sleeps a loooooong stretch.

I haven't been to bed either, but it's only 1130 here. I have no good reason, Autumn went to sleep at 1030. Hope she sleeps a good stretch, but sure I'll be back up in a few hours. Hope you both get some sleep!
Checking in. I've gotten two, 1 hour stretches of sleep so far. She's going 3 hours between feelings but about an hour or so after she eats she starts to fuss a lot and has been spitting up/gagging. I'm going to try the RNP after this feeding to see if that helps at all.

I'm here. E just woke up screaming like a psycho banshee! He wouldn't nurse or take a paci. I had to get up and walk around before he woke the whole house.
He's been screaming and inconsolable the last few days. There isn't anything obvious wrong with him. I'm afraid he's just a grumpy baby My other boys weren't anything like this.
He has his 4 mo well check in the morning. I'm sitting here trying to figure out how to nicely tell the pedi that this baby just seems unhappy sometimes
Sam is up. He just wants to play. I was already up when he woke because I'm covered in hives. The allergist apointment I've been waiting for since April is two weeks away. I am seriously running out of patience with being itchy all the time. I should try getting him back to sleep again, but he's so happy playing and so angry when I start trying to get him back out. Since it's not like I'm sleeping anyway, we are having some MOTN mama/Sam time.
No sleep yet. Contractions every 5-10 minutes for the last 6 hours. I'm about to go to sleep and hopefully wake up in undeniable labor or in 8 hours. Either is fine with me right now.
930-330 four nights in a row now! I definitely feel it may be the arm out of the swaddle causing the 3am wake up. But he seems so hungry! Anyway it's not a big deal.
He's farting away now, will put him back in rnp soon
Must check Matilda then. Had to change her sheet before I went to bed because it was soaked in sweat but the Tylenol and ibuprofen combo broke the fever thankfully.

The beginning is so tough! Hang in there. I hope you get a longer sleep stretch soon.

Horrible, horrible night. 30 minutes of sleep is all I've had. Both kids have been awake since 3 right now. Carter has been up nursing almost the entirety of the night. I can't even get him Tylenol or Motrin because Bella is awake and will flip out if I get out of this bed.
Seriously, I almost can't handle this anymore. I think it's driving me out of my mind. I cant keep living like this.

I hate that you don't get to sleep. I seriously don't know how you manage. G was such a terrible sleeper his first year, the sleep deprivation made my H and I so terrible to each other. Are there sleep consultants who recommend techniques other than CIO, would that be an option? I hope you can catch a break soon.
H obviously had no luck with the first round. I was up with him for 2 hours and then turned him back over to my H, hopefully they can fall asleep on the couch together.

Not a bad night but no long stretches He did 3.5, 3, and 2. I need to start going to bed when he does. Now hes up ready to start his day, at 530. He doesn't even want to nurse, just chat and hang out. At least X STTN. I really hope A starts doing long stretches soon. He's almost 3 months.
I randomly woke up at midnight (I think I had the monitor on too loud and heard C groan), then feedings at 2 and 5:30. I'm off to pump now, because I'm going to the salon this afternoon and MH might need milk while I'm gone. This will be my first time leaving C, but I'm not at all worried.
RNP for the win. Tonight at least. She slept 3.5 hours without any gagging. I feel like a new person lol my H better not look tired today or I'll kill him, he got a lot of sleep.

I'm so sorry that sleep is such an issue-you're amazing for keeping your sanity through all of this...
I'm sure you're tired of suggestions and probably have tried everything, but my friend has a 3yo who is a poor sleeper and her pedi recommended melatonin an hour or so before bed, she said its done wonders for his sleep..I'm not sure what age you can start taking it or how much, but just wanted to mention it as a possible option

I'm so sorry, honey. That is awful. Please hang in there. You can get through this!
RNP users, does yours creak a ton? If I rock it, it's so loud, and it's now creaking if C moves in her sleep which wakes me up! Wtf?! I didn't use one with G so I'm not sure if this is normal or not?

Are you able to get a good burp out of her after feeding. I used to have to thump A's back really hard in the beginning to get a burp, sometimes it would take forever but the times I gave up he usually ended up like that. A spent most if his newborn days in the bouncy chair during the day and the rnp at night, that incline helps for sure.
I hope the rnp gives you a good stretch, those first few days are tough, you need a little sleep!
When I went to check Matilda she was burning up. 103.8 then she was awake for two hours. Ugh
Back in bed by 6 william woke at 7.
Oh no! Violet randomly had a high fever like that about a week ago, and 24-36 hours later it was gone and she was fine. She never had any other symptoms but a fever.

Sometimes I get a good burp. Sometimes nothing.i forgot how hard it can be to burp a baby

Oh gosh, you poor thing. I wish this wasn't the norm for you guys. I know you've tried everything possible so I have no suggestions, just sympathy.

D was over 9 months before we got stretches longer than 3 hours from him, that was after sleep training. Even then 4-5 was a great night. I hope A gets with the program soon, no sleep is so so hard.
We had a pretty good night, down about 8:30, he did wake at 10 but I able to poke the soother in his mouth a few times and he went back to sleep after a few minutes. He woke at 2 and then again at 4, I brought him to bed with us at 4. Of course he's been sleeping until 8 or after all week and the morning my H is home so I can sleep in too he gets up at 7, go figure.
I'm sorry for all the rough nights, I hope all those babies (big and small) decided to sleep eventually.
