Yoga and swimming, and very occasional running for health. I would like to not gain SO much weight this pregnancy (that is, stay within healthy range instead of gaining too much).
Running in this heat with this fatigue has been a shitshow. I'm hoping it will feel better in the fall, and I can maybe keep up decent weekly mileage until I'm the size of a house.
I've sure got another ironman on the brain. I think more so because I know it will be awhile.
Oh no! A 5k? 10k? New class? We have to get this figured out!
I'm registered for a half in January that I probably won't be able to do because I don't have any control over my schedule that month, and I think DH and I are probably going to do a 10 miler in October, but that doesn't require a whole lot of training, just maintenance. I'm kind of afraid to sign up for anything because I'm not really sure if I will have the time to train or actually be free on race day.

That's right! You are Dr. Runaways now! what about the Oatmeal's virtual race, Beat the Blerch?

Oooh! I ordered my snorkel. I read a few reviews that mentioned the user having a neck injury and was perfect for getting in a swim workout without turning the neck!

I don't know. I looked into signing up for a half, but they all start at 4:30am here, with a packet pickup/assembly time of 3 or 3:30am. Even 5Ks want you there at 4am. I may sign up for a 500 meter dash, solely because they start at 7am, lol.
Haven't started officially training yet but another marathon. I know (think) I have a faster time in me. My last marathon was in 2012 and I felt shockingly good throughout the whole thing. I need to actually follow a plan which I've never done before and focus on tempo runs and speed work. I'd also would like to run a 1:32 half.

That's crazy! I guess they are trying to beat the heat?

Marathon in November. I'd love to break 3:30, (which would only be a 4 min PR), but the heat is making that seem crazy. My long runs are stronger than when I was training for my last race, but I'm not really sure how I just BQ'd 6 months ago. Freakin summer, man.
Marathon #3 is in Septemeber. I'm hoping for another *slight* PR. This is my last big race for awhile provided IVF works this fall so I just want to run a good race really.
I have recently expressed to both my H and my mom I'd like to maybe start getting into tris post-kids in the next couple years. It both terrifies and excites me to broaden my horizon to that someday.

It's been brutal. Higher than normal and the humidity has been worse than I ever remember. This will make you so strong come cool weather!!

I am working toward being limitation-free with my shoulder. It's a TON better, but I still can't do anything that requires swinging from a pull-up bar or too many snatches with what would usually be a normal weight for me. Baby steps.
Starting in a week I'll be focused on strengthening to support my knee as well, but I'm still supposed to rest post-cortisone shot until then. The doctor said I could bike in the meantime, but the acupuncturist (who is actually helping! thank god!) said no biking, so I am taking it easy.
Chicago Half in Sept., 10 mile city race in Nov. then the Kiawah Half in Dec.
I'm actually kind of burnt out from training this whole year. My goal for Chicago is to just finish. I'm more excited to visit and eat my way through the city!!

Dear Philippines: you're doing it wrong.
Oh wait, I just found a 5K that starts at 5:45am, and I can even pick up my race packet at the mall today! So I'm revising my answer to: training for a 5K.

Currently training for my first marathon. My friends talked me into a second 5 months after the first.
I've also been doing NROLW since Feb. I start Stage 7 this week (skipping over 6 for right now). My goal is to continue lifting - probably another New Rules program until after my March Marathon, then join Crossfit next summer when I go back to grad school.
