Thank you guys so much. It turned into a crazy situation. I went to mfm to be scanned and long story short, they found a second baby but it was implanted somewhere it wasn't supposed to be. Four doctors checked me out there and couldn't tell if it was in the uterus, the tube or in my abdomen. the doctor there literally drove me to my IVF office since my OB was on vacation. That Dr. Said I was a ticking time bomb and needed immediate surgery so I was rushed over to the ER and was in surgery within an hour. they tried to do it laparoscopically but that didn't work so they had to cut me open. once they did they found a ton of endometriosis and the baby implanted into my abdomen so they had to remove the baby, the endometriosis and one of my tubes. Not sure how the endo was missed all this time as I've had so many tests fertility related. I lost a ton of blood so I've had 6 transfusions since Wed. It's been insane and I'm in a lot of pain. I did hear the heartbeat on the remaining baby on Fri so that's a good start. They said it's a 50/50 chance of survival for the next three weeks. I go back for another sono on wed so if appreciate any continued good vibes
I'm so sorry that you went through all of that. How scary. I hope the pain subsides soon and most of all that baby continues to do well. Sending you good vibes!
Trying for #3; FET 8/18 -- BFN. Leaving things up to chance for now... After three years, three IVFs, and two FETs, we finally have our miracle babIES!
How scary, I'm so sorry you're going through this. Sending you many, many good thoughts and vibes while you recover and hoping that baby continues to do well!
Omg that is a scary situation! I'm so glad you're okay though and that they caught it in time to do surgery so things didn't get any worse than they did.
I'll keep praying for you and baby sass over the next few weeks. Great news that they heard a heartbeat on Fri, hope your u/s on Wed goes well!
Omg I can't believe you had to go through all of that! I have been thinking about you and I'm glad you are OK. I will be keeping you and the baby in my thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery.
