I have to paint what will hopefully one day be a nursery in our new house in preps for updating our adoption profile pics. So of course we don't know boy or girl. The bedding we have is beige based with brick red and green accents. The wall decals in this pic are from the bedding set. The chair in the corner will also be in that room.
It gets practically no natural light right now thanks to an overgrown shrub outside the window that is going to take great effort to remove. Even then, the window is pretty shaded.
Any suggestions on a wall color? I was leaning gray/griege, but they are hard to get one that feel warm, not industrial.

I think the wallcolor is fine. Honestly, it's that bedding that's bringing the room down. Is that the bedding you talked about? I think more organized wall decoration would make the room much more welcoming than a change in paint color. Some big prints, maybe some things hanging from the ceiling.
That picture is the room at the house we're leaving. New house is pink walls pink ceiling. I don't know the gray color name in old house and am afraid to color match off a photo because they never work for me.
And that's not the bedding. The crib bedding in question matches the decals.
If it was me and a room didn't get much natural light I would try to go for a brighter baby set and a cucumber/ melon colored wall to try and brighten it up some
Go old school with rh silver sage/sw comfort gray.
I had it in my old house bc it was low light. It looked amazing at Christmas with deeper reds.
I DK, maybe it depends on the lighting, but I feel that silver sage can read really light blue. I would think more along the lines of BM Revere Pewter or Pashmina.
I don't know what it looks like in person, but my daughter's in laws are painting their dining room and I was trying to help find them a Behr color, and Sculpture Clay looked like it might be a nice greige. They don't want anything too gray it seems light enough andw arm enough that it might work for them.

It's a VERY light dependent color. It's a blue-green in low light.

I think I only ever suggest one color, but someone rec'd SW sea salt for our low-light living room and it really is the perfect color. Soft and inviting, changes depending on time of day, would work well for a boy or girl nursery. It's a lovely color.

I was going to suggest revere pewter, too. in our master bath it isn't too industrial, at all.
I ended up going SW versatile gray. I think I really like it. However, right now I think it makes me hate my trim color! Maybe that will change once I get the ceiling painted white. The purple-y pink + gray may be what's making my trim look greenish. It was done with oil based off white and oil based paints yellow when exposed to latex off gassed. So now it's really yellow.
