DS sleep in until 7:45, woohoo! It was much appreciated, since I slept super poorly last night. If I roll on my side I get nauseous, but I can't fall asleep on my back. All my rolling disturbs DH so he snored more than usual, so I had to poke him several times to get him to stop. It was a vicious cycle.
we got home from vacation yesterday which was a 4 hour time difference. R has completely lost his shit multiple times over the "new" sleeping arrangements. for lack of better options, we did a lot of bed sharing at night and there was always family around to hold him for naps. also, we took away his swaddle and he's trying so hard to crawl... we are completely fucked when it comes to sleep right now. expect a post from me in the near future about sleep training if he doesn't get this sorted in the next couple weeks.

My kid has been a fountain of spit up today. Currently on clothes change #3 (waiting until Eah was too soaked to be okay) and burp cloth (receiving blankets) #5. At 10 am.

This morning was DH's morning to sleep in, and of course M woke up at 6am. He is currently fussing in his crib instead of taking his morning nap. I am hoping he falls asleep so I can nap as well.
It's approximately 20 degrees cooler here today that it was yesterday, and I kind of love it.
C is napping, I'm curled up on the couch in jeans and a hoodie, watching Now & Then (one of my favorite childhood movies), and browsing Pinterest. H and I are going to really tighten our belt on finances starting in August, so I'm looking for good budgeting tips since we've never been super strict about it, despite all my time spent on MM.
DD had her first sleepover at the grandparents' last night and DH and I had 18 blissful hours of being kid-free. I hope she isn't too pissed at us when we pick her up this morning.

I'm.so.tired.
This has been such a busy weekend and we still have a ton of crap to do today, too. DD2's birthday party is next weekend and I go back to work on August 9th so we're trying to get as much done around here as we can before then.
Oh, and we scored a free iPad this weekend. My FIL apparently won it and doesn't want anything to do with it so we inherited it. Seeing as how my Nook Tablet died last week, this is perfect timing.

pugz there is this big scandal in my neighborhood about newspapers. There is a free Wednesday paper that has coupon. We have a box at the entrance to the subdivision. There is a white van that comes not long after the papers are delivered and takes them all. So now someone who lives here will try to pick them up and deliver them to the people who want them.
My husband went to church this morning without us. He serves on a team and missed last week. Before he had been gone 40 minutes, the dog threw up, the toddler obsessed over the dog throwing up since it was in her play room, the baby wouldn't stop crying and i had no pants since they needed to get put in the dryer and the ones I was wearing got peed on. Oh and Nods was up for 2 1/2 hours last night. Her diaper leaked so we had a 1 am sheet change. Then I didn't change the baby's diaper at his last feeding, because I was exhausted add so of course it leaked all in our bed. But I would have to change sheets anyway since my shirt was super wet from leaking. We are a mess today.
We are going to my parents for lunch. I am so looking forward to the break. It's our first trip out of the house so we will see how long it takes me to get everyone ready.
I think my BFF is annoyed with me. We were going to play date today. She texted at 8:15 to see if we wanted to go to the Farmer's Market. But C (and thus I) slept until 9:30. I answered then but radio silence on her end. I know she's had a tough week with her DH out of town. Blrrrrrgh.

H slept until 7:45 a.m. and I let DH sleep in, so bonus points for me. Typically he always gets up with H on the weekends.
Just booked my girls weekend in August, so excited. It will be my first night away from DS, who will be 23 months, ever. And DH and I will be going away for a night the following week leaving DS with my parents. I'm so excited. I figure once I have this baby, it will be another two years before I can have a full night out.
DH took DS to the local pool, so I am cleaning, GBCNing and just getting the house organised as I think we are having company next weekend.
C didn't get kicked out of Sunday School/the church nursery today! They made hats and played outside which are two of his favorite things, so he was actually pretty thrilled today.
(Hat tip to @supergreen for suggesting we bump him up to the 2 year old room early, he's much happier because they have real activities, I think.)

Crib transition attempt #2 went way better than night one. We put her back in an arms out swaddle since she was rolling onto her stomach all night and getting pissed about it. Last night I put her down at 8:45 and she didn't make a peep until 4:00. DH put her pacifier back in and she was quiet until 4:45 when I got her and she slept in our bed until almost 6!
I am in line outside Dollar Tree waiting for them to open so I can get $1 newspapers. What have I become. #couponing
Does anyone have any idea what the Dollar Tree (or any store, for that matter) does with the Sunday paper come Monday morning? I've thought about asking them if they'll let me take some extra coupons out of the paper after Sunday, but I'm too embarrassed. What if all those coupons are just being thrown away??? LOL.

from the looks of it this morning, I'd be surprised if mine had any left. There was a long line by the time I got in and a steady stream of people arriving after.

My little peanut was back to waking every 2 hours last night. It's like we take one step forward and 2 steps back. He wouldn't nap this morning either so I put him in the car and we drove to my inlaws (30 minutes away). He fell asleep in the car, woke once we were in the driveway, but I was able to get him back to sleep quickly and he's been napping for over an hour now. My inlaws made me lunch and now I'm just relaxing.
