Went to target to pick up a few things (including vitamin c - thanks again for the rec @toptoetulips!). Checking out the young male cashier was commenting on everything. Birthday card... planning a party? Baking sheets... Making cookies? Until he got to the pregnancy tests, preseed and prenatals. LOL. He couldn't even look me in the eye after that.
This has been a baby filled weekend. I became an auntie for the 5th time late Thursday and got plenty baby snuggles Friday and Saturday from new baby Archie. Then today I went to a baby shower. The shower was huge and I am pretty sure a baby doesn't need 7 kinds of bouncer or swingy things . It was execessive.
Now I am headed home but sitting in mass pike traffic. Blah.

Wow that is a baby filled weekend preppy...how are you holding up?
After meeting with my dr last week I've decided to bump back on my metformin I was taking 1500 and it was just too much, I wasn't feeling well at all. She suggested going to the re or back to the gyn in September if my cycle hadn't normalized at that point.

I am doing okay. I am really happy for them both but def have some jealousy.
konapoppy - that's cracking me up! Thanks for sharing.
We went to Target yesterday with DS, who insisted on wearing his new sunglasses inside. They're so cute. From Gap, and look like Wayfarers. Our young, male cashier commented on them, and H keeps saying that 'the hipster liked them.' Do real hipsters even work at Target?
I went from nothing yesterday to positive OPK and temp rise today, whee! We had a great family day at a local festival, and I can't wait to dig into the pear pie we brought home.
Love of my life baby boy born 11/11. One and done not by choice; 3 years of TTC yielded 4 MMC and 2 CPs, through 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Focusing on making the world a better place instead...and running.

Were you having side effects from the metformin?
HUgs
yes my digestive system was a mess every morning. I feel like my blood sugar was getting super low all the time. I was taking 3 pills they wanted me taking 4 but 3 was too much. The dr said to take as much as I could and I realized that even at 3 it was really affecting my life.
I kind of ruined the day today thanks to my math homework and take home test taking 6 hours to complete. Jesus. DH was such a good sport and calmed me down when I freaked out and started crying at one point (because if I can't do THIS how will I ever pass the next math class I have to take?!). We wound up getting take out from Jimmy Johns, a milkshake to share, and played a new board game after I finally finished all of my homework. Tonight we're DTD since the fertile window started today. Fingers crossed I O this week since I'm OOT for a girls weekend next weekend. =)
