Who thinks the US should be supplying Ukraine with weapons. I think it's a terrible idea. His argument is that the US took a non-interventionist role in WW2 and it failed.
I don't even know where to start...but maybe I'm missing something? Maybe the US should be helping Ukraine? What's the chatter in the US?
I'm sorry, we took a non-interventionist role in WWII and it failed? Does he mean the non-intervenionism or our involvement in WWII? Because I would say our role in WWII was successful. As far as if the war would have been over sooner if we intervened when Germany invaded Poland, that's only educated speculation. Possibly not, since Germany wasn't fighting the USSR at that point.
If our non-intervention in Ukraine "fails" in the future, it will because of additional escalation by Putin.
Well, that worked out really well when we gave anti aircraft missiles and military training to Afghanistan to use against Russia. There were zero downsides to that decision.

Also such as the Iraq.
And countless other wars/rebellions around the world. And it always turns out so well. Hell, I bet we already have.

I'm stuck on the WW II reference. Who knows what would have happened but we were attacked so you know, it became our war. I love how history gets warped and twisted.
