I'm trying to figure out a 10K to run in the middle of marathon training. I have two that I'm debating about, which one would you run?
I really want a PR. I know I can definitely PR big on my 10K race since I have only run a few and I've run faster 10Ks within my half and 10-mile races.
One is cheaper, but the timing doesn't work as well since it's a Sunday race. I'll have done my 17 miles the day before. I know I can tack on 11 miles afterwards, but I really want to run balls to the walls and not worry about the 11 miles that are coming afterwards.
I'm pretty sure I'm running race A, so I say do that one and the shirt is SUPER soft In all seriousness, I prefer Saturday races cause I don't race well if I did my long run on Saturday prerace.
if race A is clarendon days 10K you should do that one with me. I think we should try to get a race GTG going. also, it comes with 3 beers so you really the race entry is more like $30. the downhill is tricky though.

This is a very convincing argument and yes you're right.
