I'm sorta considering one about cook ahead meals and kitchen tips. I use to spend 1 day cooking enough for 2 meals per day for a month for my grandma. I feel like I'm writing up one of my recipes at least once a week for people who ask here. I have a small cookbook written that was a gift to BIL and SIL when they moved out of town. They still use it pretty regularly 6 years later.
Does this sound boring as hell or would some people here be interested?
I'd read that. I think with food blogs, picture are really important and food with color. If you are doing a lot of beige-y foods in a crock pot, that's not going to attract a lot of readers.
Well, half of the blogs I read are food/cooking blogs. I also recommend you put your iced coffee instructions in there. I tried it and was pleased.
Yeah. That's my thought too. There are so many food blogs out there. I'm not looking for a ton of traffic or anything, just to share some of the stuff I do to make my life easier while still eating mostly at home.
I'm glad you liked it. Did you do the cold brew or the frozen coffee cubes?
I'm overwhelmed by the number of food blogs; but I'm interested in them. I just can't commit. If it was someone that I "knew" I'd be more apt to try it out. I'd love make ahead meal info, I'm terrible at that.
I'd read it. I'm rethinking my dinner strategies since we're looking at longer, busier days with DD in school full-time and DS in daycare. We'll have about an hour less in the afternoons due to doing pick ups and drop off, and when they need to be, so I don't want to be spending as much time on dinner each evening as I currently am.

The cold brew. It was excellent!
Oh, and with my original post, I meant that I think you shoud do it. I love cooking blogs.
If it helps, here's a super simple sample of one of my favorites:
Cook 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts however is easiest for you (crockpot, grill, bake, boil or use leftover roasted or rotisserie chicken) Hand shred and stir together with 1 can/jar of your favorite brand enchilada sauce. Divide into serving size portions and put into freezer bags and freeze.
To use, thaw chicken (it can be done in about 30 seconds in the microwave). In a casserole dish, spread a thin layer of refried beans. Add a layer of the chicken then top with cheese. Bake at 400 for about 20 minutes or until cheese is slightly brown and bubbly. Add a dollop of sour cream and serve.
I have a ton of individual serving ramekins so I do 1 ramekin per person and serve them in the same container.
Can you reshare your coffee recipe now? I'm intrigued. I recently read the Pioneer Woman's recipe, is it similar?
Simplest thing ever. Put 1 part coffee grounds and 4 parts water in a container and stir. Let it sit for 4 to 12 hours (I prefer the 12 hour version.) Pour through a coffee filter and enjoy over ice. It will keep in the fridge for at least a week. I don't know much past that because it never lasts that long in our house.

So simple! I'm excited to try it.
Clearly you should start a blog purely for the selfish interests of ML.

I would absolutely read it! I have the once a month cooking cook book but I would love new ideas. I want to cook once a week at first then gradually get to maybe every other week. I think I will need to invest in bigger pans. I'm not sure.
I would read it because I am trying to get more into the habit of OAMC. I have done it twice and it was so helpful to have those dinners in the freezer on busy days/weeks.
I have 2 books I really like but am always on the lookout for new recipes.
