Mainly a lurker but was hoping for some good old fashioned ML advice.
My step-father was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease last year and has an upcoming job interview. He has a very visible and almost constant tremor in his right hand. Is this something he should address/disclose in the interview?
Background information that might be important: He is 60, currently employed, and has "come out" at work because his hand tremors had become so obvious. The position he is interviewing for is a supervisor role and is mainly a desk job. His Parkinson's is not yet affecting his work but clearly could in the future. The company has approached him seeking an interview. He lives in California.

He should not bring it up. It will not affect his job performance, but they may see it as a reason not to hire him.
Furthermore, there are lots of reasons a person can shake, including low blood sugar, so it's not like they will assume he has Parkinson's or anything else that might affect his job unless he brings it up. My husband has a really bad benign tremor, and the doctor's suspected Parkinson's or MS; it turned out to be nothing of significance. Let the interviewers assume the best.
