That was one of the better ones. I also read the one about the orange (I think it was??) last year and that story has stayed with me even though I KNOW it was fake. And I don't even think it was scary so much as weird but omg if I don't think of it at least once a month.

Ooh, which one is that?
Here you go! It was actually two years ago. It's really long.

Thank you! You always have the best stuff to check out. When I get bored and feel like I've hit the end of the internet, I'm going to tag you and ask you for more good randomness.
I begin tucking him into bed and he tells me, “Daddy check for monsters under my bed.” I look underneath for his amusement and see him, another him, under the bed, staring back at me quivering and whispering, “Daddy there’s somebody on my bed.”
I woke up to hear knocking on glass. At first, I though it was the window until I heard it come from the mirror again.
There was a picture in my phone of me sleeping. I live alone.
My daughter won’t stop crying and screaming in the middle of the night. I visit her grave and ask her to stop, but it doesn’t help.
Growing up with cats and dogs, I got used to the sounds of scratching at my door while I slept. Now that I live alone, it is much more unsettling.
I can't move, breathe, speak or hear and it's so dark all the time. If I knew it would be this lonely, I would have been cremated instead.
Holy hell. I'm so not going to be able to sleep tonight.

J will sometimes talk about his last family with very specific details and then say that after you're in Heaven for a long time God has you come back as a baby to a new family.
I usually think he just has a great imagination but every once in a while I give him the side eye, especially since we don't believe in God. I'm sure the God part he could have picked up anywhere.
Honestly, I think it's much less scary since I don't believe in anything supernatural anymore. That stuff loses its edge when you take ghosts, demons, poltergeists, etc. off the table.
Actual humans are a million times scarier than anything supernatural.
