This makes me worried for several members of my family. It also makes me worried for the average citizen because now you must just assume that everyone is armed.

Let's just say my H's position is not a popular one on this board. Which is why I generally stay silent in any gun conversation here and at home.

I know it might seem weird for him to have this sort of stance, but he's always been of the opinion that the criminals will always have guns. Legislation isn't going to change that as far as he's concerned. He assumes the people he deals with are armed, for the most part.
