I found a backsplash tile that has the same granite as our counters I but it think it looks really busy so how can I use it as an accent? This is what our cabinets and counters will look like, light maple with blue pearl granite

How much space do you have for your backsplash? I can see doing an accent strip, but the whole think I think might be busy. Just because it matches I wouldn't feel pressured to use it.
That tile you found is really pretty! I think I would try pulling out that grey glass as the main tile and using the small stripes as an accent. The lighter blue-grey is pretty but I think it would be a little too disparate to use that as the main tile. Honestly, I'd get samples of both to test.
I like the idea of using it as an accent strip with white subway tile. That second picture with it going all the way up the wall makes me feel like I'm on Space Mountain.
All of those (including the matching granite) are way too busy for me, why not a nice white or cream subway tile? Or if you can't bear a classic look, a nice glass subway tile in gray? Granite is so busy on its own, and so expensive, it deserves to be the star of the show.
I agree with this. I usually like A lot of A lot...ha..but when it comes to granite simpler is better.
In my general opinion plain countertops can have a busier backsplash but patterned countertops need something plain to balance it all out.
