Did anyone else notice Josh's suit was way too small for him on proposal day? I thought for sure it was going to split open when he got down on one knee.

Yes. And odd shoe choice. Doesn't the show have stylists.

I still think it's strange that she was soooo in love with Josh from the beginning, but slept with Nick in the fantasy suite. It seemed like her mind was pretty made up from the beginning, so what's the point in sleeping with both?
Nick was a douche for bringing up the fact they slept together.
YES. I just found the whole bit about him seeking "closure" pathetic. WTH was she going to say that would make him feel better?
Nick seems a little obsessive...I don't think closure of any sort would have actually brought "closure." I think his crap last night is going to do him more harm in the long run than good. No girl who is actually looking for a long term relationship or marriage is going to want him, because she will wonder if he is actually over Andi.
I also hated Nick's teeth and how he talked. That alone would have made me send him home early on...shallow I know, but I watch people's mouths when they talk, and I just don't think I could get past it. It's unattractive to me.

I agree...
I wonder how many of the bachelors/bachelorettes sleep with the contestants on the show. I remember the very first bachelor and his choice (her name was Amanda) broke up because she found out he slept with Trista (who was the runner up) in the Fantasy Suite. I wonder if Josh knew before last night that she slept with Nick, and how he felt about it.

Nick had this weird problem with talking. He sounded like he had a breath mint or lifesaver in his mouth all the time. There just seemed to be a lot of spit in there.
I just got a kick out of how she said she was breaking it off with him because he over-analyzed everything, and then he couldn't stop trying to chase her down and contact her so that they could go over everything again. Then of course last night he realized he had nothing to say to her anymore, really.
They seemed to really be lacking material for After The Final Rose - I mean, grumpy cat?? Random. Also, none of the success story couples were there, were they? I wasn't watching that closely for all of it but never saw them. Why would they pass up an opportunity to trot out their couples that are still together? Was it because they didn't want to have to have Juan Pablo and Nikki there?

He definitely shouldn't have brought that up on camera. However, I do think it was kind of leading him on to sleep with him after he told her he loves her/wants to marry her while she knew all along that he wouldn't be the one. What was he supposed to think? I also wonder what Josh really thinks about that. It's not an indictment of Andi per say but more the set up of the show. I would have a major problem with my fiancé proposing to me a day or two after having sex with someone else. No way would I marry him after that.
otoh, it is the Bachelor/ette and the can't exactly pretend not to know how the show works after, what? seventeen seasons? Lol.
Well, I was just appalled that Nick would come back and air the dirty laundry of the fantasy suite. I mean, we kind of "know" that stuff is going on, but it does make the one she picks in the end seem like less of a slam dunk. But I guess if this is the one time in your life you can carte blanche go for it with whomever you like, enjoy it --- sometimes it takes some intimacy to figure out if the lifelong potential is there.....that's what you have to work with for life there. Maybe he wasn't a good snuggler?
And his lack of eye contact got me all the time. I think that's why everyone thinks he was playing her -- but he can't look anybody in the eye when he talks to them. Major pet peeve.
I think Andi and Josh are cute. I hope they work out. But I always say this, after every season!

Exactly!
I agree that sleeping with him could have been leading him on, but bringing it up on live TV was just such a dick move. I think that he felt so not in control for those months that he was chasing her around seeking "closure" that he couldn't help but make the one move that made him feel like he had control/power---embarrassing her. Hopefully the news was not a surprise to Josh, although if anyone seems confident enough to just take that kind of news in stride, it's him.
It was a weird show. I found the part where they asked former contestants to guess at what Andi was going to say to Nick really odd. I guess it was a way to keep promoting Bachelor in Paradise.
Admittedly, I liked Nick. Yes, I can see why people found him smarmy or whatever. But, c'mon--if someone slept with you and was giving you all those signals, and then suddenly tried to spin it like, 'I luuuurved Josh all along,' I would feel totally used. And be pretty hurt about it all. Like Nick, I would want an explanation, because all the things that Andi says do not add up. If she loved Josh all along and respected Nick, both of which she professed, then sleeping with Nick was pretty shitty.
Of course, I think that Andi actually DID love Nick, or at least have the beginnings of those feelings. And to pretend that 'it was Josh all along' is an embellishment or selective rendering of history.

I think she liked Nick and took him to the end she could tell he was a sure thing. And she seemed to think Josh was out of her league for some reason. I think that both of them living in the same city turned out to be a huge factor though. It'll be much easier to merge their lives.
I actually liked Nick better. I liked how assured and confident he was. They had more interesting, involved conversations. Josh is good looking but he came across as pretty boring IMO.

Yeah, all of this.
Also, Josh's family was like creepy close and smothering. If an epic fight came down where he had to choose his family or his wife's side, I think he's the type of guy that would allow his family to steamroll her.
Also and I'm sure this is an UO but I'd love to see Nick back as the Bachelor. I was cringing watching ATFR. I felt bad that he got so hurt. It seemed genuine.

I didn't aspects of Nick's personality because it reminded me of my XH. He seems a bit arrogant and over confident. Josh seemed fake the entire season- almost like he was reading from a teleprompter or his lines were scripted. Chris was my fav...I hope he's picked as the next Bachelor!
Andi was pretty pissed when Juan Pablo didn't have feelings for her after sleeping with her in the Fantasy Suite. I think that call out was a little bit of karma for her.
Every time Nick was on TV I wanted to just smack him upside the head. His constant mumbling, never moving his mouth when he talked - people that don't actually move their jaw when speaking drive me crazy. Plus he came across as a sleazy and self-centered from the get go.
Josh is so not my type. He takes himself way too seriously. But he grew on me the last few episodes and they looked cute together at the reunion special. I hope it works out for them.
I totally missed the part where Nick said they slept together. Did he say it outright? Or was it subtly implied ? That's what I get for doing 5 things at once and trying to watch Bachelorette on DVR.
I'm annoyed they didn't announce the Bachelor during the episode. I thought they usually do this.

He asked if she was in love with him and she said no. Then he asked, if you weren't in love with me, why did you make love to me? Sooo...not exactly subtle.

Awkward! I totally missed that. I need to pay more attention. LOL.
I know I am late to the party, but I finally got back and just watched!!!!!
OMG, Nick what are you DOING!?!?!? He absolutely seemed very truly hurt and broken-hearted, but really did he have to "go there" on live TV!? Though, it was an excellent moment - I gasped audibly and grabbed H's arm, so much drama.
Have to say, not terribly surprised that she chose Josh. He seemed so...simple, easy. I think Nick was spot on when he alluded to Josh being the easier choice. They're nearby, he's sort of a known entity...I understand her choice.
Like a few others, I also enjoyed Josh's super-tight suit (WTF). Though, I actually DID really adore Andi's white "engagement gown." The other highlight for me was the baseball card Josh made for her - so, it was very cheesy but totally adorable. I can see the two of them making it down the aisle, actually.
Finally...what do we think of the next Bachelor!? Obviously ABC wants Farmer Chris. I would have loved Marquel, but seems like he did the other show (paradise).
The MM family is sort of split on Farmer Chris, though, it seems. I would enjoy it simply because I really liked the cheesy "theme" Bachelors they did back in the day (Officer & a gentleman, prince bachelor, actor bachelor, rich guy Firestone bachelor, etc.) Farmer Bachelor would lead to some awesome group dates.
Already miss my trashy TV fix. Thank god for Bach in paradise.
