We finally figured out why Peyton started waking up an hour early!! She used to sleep 7:30-6:30 but then started waking at 5:20. It was horrid. We tried later bedtime, earlier bedtime, letting her cry off and on from 5:30-6. Nothing was working. I thought long and hard about what had changed routine wise and finally figured it out! We had moved her nap from 12pm and started putting her down at 1pm. I have no idea why that affected her sleeping in, but the first day I put her down for an earlier nap, she slept all the way until 6:30 when I put we to bed that night. She's been back to 12pm naps and 6:30 wake ups for a week now! Toddlers are weird. Also I'm trying to figure out if I should switch her bedtime back to 7:30 instead of the new 8:15 we are doing, but I'm afraid to mess her up again! Haha.

Yay! That's great news! Good going, Mama. Toddlers are SO WEIRD.
We sign the lease on the house we're renting tonight... I started packing last night. I packed up all the stuff in our dining room hutch, and then last night my back was killing me. I felt so out of shape! Good news is, we will have a "workout room" in the new house, so I'll be able to squeeze in runs, etc. hopefully every day.
A had an amazing first day at her new school. She was in the best mood all night, and was totally fine at drop off this morning.
I'm so happy things are finally falling into place. It was a tough couple of months!
I sent my younger brother a Facebook message on Sunday to try to make amends with him. We used to be kind of close, and several things made me want to reach out. My older brother is moving to Arkansas Saturday, and saying goodbye was way harder than I thought it would be. I've also spent a lot of time around J when he's with his siblings and they're so close.
Anyway, I sent it and he read it almost an hour later and has never responded. He's been kind of self absorbed lately and it sucks. My boys love him to death and keep asking when they're going to see uncle Josh again. He only lives an hour away, and for the past week he's been working on a house about a half an hour away.
I'm so tired. Up too late watching dumb bachelorette stuff, and then I could not turn off my brain. My mind has been racing all day since we've moved and I'm sooo overwhelmed it is unreal. I need to go see a new PCP but I just can't do it. I really don't want to go see a stranger about these feelings.
I'm planning on going to Costco while Jamie is at camp today (and pumping my own gas!) H was like "why would you do that during your free time? Do something fun!" Um, wandering around costco without a toddler (or a rushing husband!) is fun!
Owen nearly fell asleep sitting in a chair last night just before 8, so we got him into bed. Woo!! Then he woke up at 10:30 and apparently had a very restless night. Whomp whomp.

Ha! This is my life. Sure, sometimes I go running or get a haircut or something while Andrew is at camp, but running errands while he's occupied is awesome! I'm in constant awe at how much I can accomplish in the few hours that he's gone. Doing these things without a toddler in tow is SO. MUCH. EASIER.

I am going to Costco Thursday while Tyler is at school. Shopping alone has become a way to relax!

Oh my gosh I'm jealous. Costco= life. You must report back on the fun stuff you get.

I agree! I get every other Friday off work, sometimes I take the kids to daycare and just get housework and errands done. It feels good to get the weekend started without all the chores hanging over my head. DH would never ever do that on a day off work.

Don't loose hope yet. Maybe he is busy or trying to think of the right words to say. I hope y'all can make amends soon
Sooo is costco > sam's club? Why? Cause I love sam's! But all I hear about on here is costco...
They are similar but they have different things. For instance, nothing beats a Costco cake. For that reason I only have a membership to Costco but my parents have a membership to Sam's and Costco.
