@soudesafinado @smorriso summer did you guys get the card I sent from the GTG? origami got hers so I am hoping you guys got yours before she got one in Korea, LOL!!
I need new sunglasses. And yes, I need them - 300+ days of sunshine per year here, people. And you know how we all hate shopping for swim suits & jeans? That's how I am with sunglasses. I need ones that look nice on my face, don't give me a headache, and can easily be swept up to the top of my head and stay put.

1. Why would someone think it's a good idea to not hold their dog's leash in Petsmart, where many other dogs are also there. Do not let your dog wander in a place like that.
2. I don't even use our community pool, but think I'm going to speak up at our next HOA meeting. You have to use your card key to get out of the pool, and I think that's kind if dangerous. Presumably, if you got in there with your legit key, you should be able to get out without the hassle do pulling your card out again.
Last night I tried to help a family get out of the pool area, but I couldn't, because I didn't know the code or have my key. Now they were wrong to be in there after 8, but they should not have been locked in. They had their card key, but I guess you can't even use that to get out after 8. I think they were new to the neighborhood and didn't know the rules. I tried calling a few neighbors to see if they knew it, but no one answered. They eventually had to jump the shorter chain link fence. So please tell me how locking someone in the pool deters people who aren't supposed to be there, when they can just go jump the shorter fence.
I came down with a horrible cold yesterday and now I'm just miserable. I keep drinking water and chicken broth (LOL) because it helps my sore throat but overall I just want to curl up in bed with a trashy book and not come out for 24 hours. Stupid work.
My friend sent me a link to a position at his company that I want so so so so much and I am totally qualified for. I'm trying to write a cover letter now and it's hard because I really really want this - I feel like it has to be perfect and I keep typing and then deleting and ending up with nothing.
My mom and sister are on my last.good.dayum.nerve. I'm PMSing too, so the next comment I hear from either of them about the other will get this response
I'm also annoyed with my cousin. My youngest sister wanted to do a cruise next year. After explaining shit to sufficiently satisfy my cousin who was all "Well if this is a birthday related cruise why can't we do it in September?" And I'm all HEIFER! Don't you teach chirren? You can't be out during the school year andplusalso I need to be here because my poor H isn't close to T's school and we tag team pick up and drop off during the school year - my cousin says she can't go on the cruise after I make a request for deposit money.
Starbucks' blackberry mojito lemonade tea is delicious. I need to figure out how to make it. I assume it's just a minty simple syrup.
IDK but I made a delightful mojito syrup by steeping a bunch of mint in hot water, adding a few tablespoons of lime juice and like 2 cups of sugar. Added to bubbly water it was delightful. Probably you could mix it with blackberry tea and have something similar.

I have specifics at home if you need them.

I've been seeing a perfectly nice guy for a few weeks. We've done nothing but briefly kiss goodbye and I haven't had sex in months. I had an O on the back of his motorcycle this weekend.
Oh myyyyyyy! Ive always felt like that would be possible but I could never relax enough.

Good luck ttt, I'm sure your cover letter will be great!
I was so bummed the one time I was summoned for jury duty. There was a snowstorm heading our way the next morning so they made the decision to close the courts early and dismissed us all. Dammit! And then a colleague was summoned a few weeks later for a murder trial.

I figured last night's house-hunting would yield nothing because they were two houses that we pretty much just agreed to see because they met most criteria but other features turned us off (like both being fully-attached townhouse-style homes)...and now they're our top two choices by a landslide lol. One in particular is great. Basement needs to be finished and the house is still in 1995 what with its 90s kitchen and the hybrid hardwood-carpet living room thing (I don't know what that wretched design feature is called but it's very 90s because we had it at our home too), but we can deal with that for a few years until we save up for major renos. We're going to see both houses again with DH's dad who can spot structural issues from a mile away and give us estimates on reno costs on Thursday night and we hope after that we make an offer on the one that we like a bit more.
