I've never had an issue having a different last name than dd ... ever. I think in this day and age no one blinks twice about a parent/child have 2 different last names.

Thanks everyone. I'm keeping my middle name as is, I don't want multiple middle names, he wants to keep his last name, so...after thought, my name is going to stay as-is. If I ever decide to hyphenate, I can, but I'd still go by Redredwine Maiden name. And if people call us Mr. and Mrs. His Lastname, I'm totally fine with it.
An acquaintance of mine actually mashed their two last names together as a compromise. His last name was something like "Whitefield" and hers was something like "Jones". She is now Mrs. Jonesfield.
