Yes. We did and I still would. I wouldn't see it as much different than her being in the RnP, where she slept pretty exclusively when on her own for 4 months.
I'm the lone decenter for MY kids. Only because they were premies and came home on oxygen and monitors. Their monitors would occasionally go off in the rnp and swing because they put them in a position that caused their airway to close. If they were in those I had to be alert, they almost always corrected themselves on their own but it was scary. I realize term babies aren't quite that weak and fragile but that's why there are warnings on those devises to not leave babies unattended.

I would but I was nervous about it the first few times too because the pillow in our snugapuppy swing seemed really fluffy, more than the one that came with the rnp. The first day, I tried to pin it up and away from her face. Then I realized that she couldn't turn her head all the way to the side on her own yet so I felt more okay with it.
Is it really flameful that I slept (gasp) in another room whole DD slept in the swing in the living room?
She was always strapped in and I was the next room over with the door open so I would have heard any crying. How is this any different than her in the RNP by herself in her room? Or is that flameful too? lol
Nah. I do it all the timewith DS. Kid is a crap sleeper and a bit reflux-y sometimes. He LIKES incline and has since day 1. Whatever gets us some sleep. I have never had a problem leaving my kid in another room. My house is not that big...I hear everything.
What do I know though? When kid sleeps in his crib he likes to be on his side just so with a blanket rubbing his cheek. I used to take the blanket away but even now that is too much of a PITA for me...and I was an extreme rule follower with DD about blankets..ha. Whatever. I highly doubt a tshirt material receiving blanket is going to cause harm.
