We use Pampers overnights. I also sort of calm it down with the liquids close to bed. If he asks for some milk, I give him 1/2 of what he normally gets.
We use Baby Dry in a size up. Another option is to use 2 regular diapers and put one of them on backwards. We did that a few weeks ago when DS had a stomach virus and had no leaks
We use regular Pampers Baby Dry overnight. No leaks. But I don't think my kid is a particularly heavy wetter at night; he consumes most of his liquids in the morning/early afternoon.

good to know. I considered doing this when we were out and realized I didn't have an overnight diaper and my husband said I was being absurd.
Huggies overnight diapers, sized up, penis pointing down (last part is VERY important). That's the only thing that holds my 2.5yo's insane amount of pee. I swear his diaper weighs 2lbs in the morning.

Huggies Overnites in a size up worked for us for a while, except now DS is in a size 6 so there is no more "up." We wash a lot of pjs and sheets around here...
