Yeah, I kinda hate it. Most of the makeup is *way* overdone, IMO, and many of the poses/photo angles are different, and the hair changes also make a big difference.
You know, I call these extra long eyelashes bat wings.
I was at Target and this associate's eyelashes were so long that when she looked down at the desk, I thought she was asleep. I'm like why do you have BATS on your dayum eyes.
*wanna join me in the corner? Because if you laughed at this, you belong with me. I haz cookies*
Maybe I've seen too many of these, but I actually don't find these all that incredible. They all look like, well, porn stars. #23 looks almost exactly the same before and after.
That said, it's amazing what smoothing someone's complexion out can do for their overall appearance.
All these folks need to work on their skin instead slathering on all of that makeup. Go back to the basics. I have some other thoughts about why their skin is this bad when they get regular facials and all that....
I'll let myself out.
I hate to say this, but my guess is that many of them have such bad skin because they are still young enough to have insane hormones. My bad skin lasted into my early twenties until I did a round of Accutane and killed my acne dead for good.
I went to high school with a woman who is now a "lifestyle model." I don't know if she does or ever has done porn, but she definitely does things like poses in scantily clad photos for advertisements for phone sex companies and shit like that. Every time one of her shoots winds up on in my facebook feed, I stare at it for way too long trying to find some semblance of the girl I knew in high school, and there's nothing there.
It's a lot like these photos.
They kind of creep me out because they are so over the top. There is definitely a difference between makeup to enhance your best features, and makeup designed to sculpt your face into some conventional notion of beauty. The latter is nothing like the former, and as a makeup lover, it bothers me that being interested in makeup generally seems to imply to some people that you do the latter.

This took me a minute to get. I was going, "Getting facials every month is the only thing that keeps my skin clear!" And then I went, "Ohhhh... FACIALS..."

All of this. ALL OF IT.
I know a lady who is a makeup artist. And while she does great work, I'd never want her to do my face because I'm sure my H would be like - LADY HOW THE FUCK YOU IN MY HOUSE? And I'd be like I'm your wife! And he'd go The HELL YOU SAY?

He's always YOU LIE!!!!!!!!!!!
He also says that super high heels lie too because they make you think a woman has a big ole booty, and then they take off the shoes and it was all an illusion.
Takeaway from these anecdotes: My H is a hot mess.
