So ya'll remember the whole house funding/wiring debacle from MAY? Well DH got an e-mail from the title company last night asking him if by chance they had accidentally sent us the ORIGINAL deed of trust for the house that was supposed to go to the lender of the new owners. Who would have thought that months later we'd still be having to deal with those idiots.

lol i love the saga of the title people!!
i am quasi-stressing about the wedding we have in sept. that i just found out is black-tie optional. i bought a dress last week that will probably work, but i kind of want to wear a long gown. but i don't know if i want to buy it.
I ordered the Payless Dexflex flats a few days ago and received them today. I don't understand the hype at all. They are extremely uncomfortable and pinch the back of my heels. I was expecting the most comfortable shoes on earth.
I posted this in the mm randoms. I finally filed my dad's life insurance. It was sad but I got over it. Today I get a call they need my parents divorce decree. I call my mom and she gives me a huge attitude about it. Ugh. He's dead. Let's get over our hate for him.
Also can someone tag @natariru and ask her how s is doing. I hope he is feeling better.
And I am going to a photography class today by Nordstrom rack. I am getting liquored up at Bahama breeze on mojitos and then buying miss r shoes.
@ffbride0813 - I read your post as a photography class at Nord. Rack. LOL. There's a Bahama Breeze right by my Rack too.
Random - tomorrow I have to get minor hand surgery. Just a local anesthesia but I'm going to have a couple stitches. Hoping typing will not be a problem and I don't have an ugly scar (inner part of my hand at least so not so visible).
Other random - I traveled to Atlanta for work this week and I really liked it down there. Not that I saw much of it but was in the 'burbs and except for the traffic it seems like a fantastic city.
My new patio was poured today. It's too small, rectangle (vs contoured) , and the end looks like a testicle. A small testicle which will fit the firepit slated to go there but no chairs. Who the f*** pours concrete in the pouring rain. I'm drowning myself in red wine. Beats the tears from earlier.
H and I picked out some paint colors for our new place and I'm really excited. We narrowed it down to 3 colors each from 2 different brands (2 from Behr and 3 from Sherwin Williams) and we'll be comparing when we get home tonight. We will pick either one brand or the other (the landlord/owner of the place said we could choose anything from either of those brands, but I would rather make it easier for him by only having him go to one place for paint).
After the paint selection, H and I had lunch, then he taught a lesson and we walked around our new 'hood for about an hour and a half. I can't wait to mooooove! It was a great morning/afternoon and now I'm trying to be productive but it ain't working so I'm here.
For funsies, here's the colors we picked!
Main areas (living room, dining room, kitchen) will be a light gray color Behr Silver Screen
Or: SW Lazy Gray
*Looking at some of these photos, I'm a little scared the grays we chose will be too light....
Bedrooms will be a light green color Behr Airy Green
Or Sherwin Williams Cucumber
Bathrooms will be sort of a seafoamy light blue Behr Fountain Spout
I'm turning into a crotchety old person. Last weekend my mom and I took the girls to a nearby tourist town. We were having ice cream and doing a bit of people watching- I was appalled by some of the wardrobe choices of the younger girls/women. There was one girl whose butt cheek was completely hanging out of her shorts. Then there was a girl who couldn't have been more than 10 who was clomping around in 3 inch wedge heels. The part that made me feel super crotchety was that my mom didn't notice either person.
On nights that I have Pilates, the husband cooks dinner, which is awesome bc I get a workout AND dinner made for me. Sometimes, when I don't feel like going to Pilates, I seriously consider leaving the house, taking a nap in my car, and coming home as if I went to Pilates, just so the husband will make dinner and I won't have to.
But I was dumb and told him that this thought has crossed my mind, so now I will never be able to do it.

bimbi284 love the colors you picked. We have gray in our bedroom. I love it, but do wish it was a shade darker. New homes are so fun! When do you move?
Bimbi284-I love the colors you picked. I just painted my daughters bedroom in Repose grey by SW. It's lighter but gorgeous! Another great color is mindful gray by SW. It's a shade darker than the a Repose. I'm doing that in my spare room and bathroom.
Doing Sea salt in my master bed and bath. It's a beautiful color! Also SW! Just adding to your list to check out!
Thanks! That's really pretty. Ugh too many colorsss!
Thanks. Usually I buy samples and paint them on the wall, but when we painted the whole house we hired my husbands commercial painter who we trust. This was his choice.
DH made dinner tonight & is now cleaning up the kitchen. I realized today I haven't used the pregnancy excuse enough. I have made dinner every night and all my other regular stuff I did before. Why haven't I used the I'm too tired or too preg excuse lol

Honestly, the older versions are vastly superior. I got leopard ones last year and they're amazing. But I have the woven ones from this year and they're just so-so.

I bought a pair of nude ones and a patterned pair in early spring and the nude ones are way more comfortable than the patterned ones.
