according to pintrest you can push a nail in the cork and then use the back of a hammer to pull the nail out and the cork should come out with it. That is only if you have a random hammer and nail laying around.
I'm so ready to have my kitchen back. I was taking a nap and as I was dozing off I started fantasizing about baking muffins.
Also, how much milk are your kids drinking? We bought a gallon on Saturday afternoon, and it will be gone by bedtime tonight! That means A is downing roughly a quart a day all by himself... IDK, excessive?
I hate Wednesdays. It's leg day, my least favorite, and the furthest I can get into the week without washing my hair, so my night is taken up with that, and Friday still seems so far away.

DH has a meeting/interview/whatever on Friday for a full-time tv position. I'm not sure how I feel about it. I mean, it'd be nice to know where your paycheck is coming from. It'd also pay for our insurance. (We pay out of pocket right now, and it's as much as our mortgage) But for whatever reason, I don't feel like this is a good fit for him. It would get his name out there more and possibly lead to something better, but who knows? If they offer it, he'll take it. I just don't know if it'll make him happy.

Max is drinking a gallon every 3ish days, Gavin is a half gallon a day.

Mine almost never gets through a half gallon before it goes bad. She prefers sugar free lemonade or water.
At our church right now, the Wednesday night bible study had the kids all grouped together for a special series for the summer and this year they're doing the beginning if Exodus. Today they talked about the Passover, and the craft was....interesting. They made matzoh houses--like gingerbread houses, but with matzoh crackers instead of gingerbread. Not quite sure how well that craft drove the message home.

North East people- isn't this a really mild summer in terms of heat? I probably just jinxed it and we'll get a heat wave, but it seems like we've had mostly temps in the 80s. It's so nice! Usually there are a few scorchers by now.

A gallon usually lasts about 6 days in our house. Ari drinks 3 large cups a day, prob around 6-8 oz. He LOVES milk.
We are watching Frozen because it is cold out today! I love the songs, I might have to buy the soundtrack sometime.
So I found out Ada didn't have a UTI but was incredibly constipated. She mixes up pee and poop a lot so she needed to poop, not that peeing hurt. She finally pooped this afternoon and has been so happy since!
Does anyone think it is weird for me to get video monitor for me kids room in Colorado? Since day 1 with Dylan and then Mia, their bedroom has always been right next to ours. I have always comforted myself with the thought that if anything happens, we will hear it. The way our apartment is set up in Colorado, the bedrooms are on complete opposite ends. This makes so uncomfortable!! I know many of you are even on different floors as your kids...I almost feel like FTM jitters but I am very concerned!!! What if someone breaks in and I don't hear it???
Get it! Think of how much fun you had watching Mia on it at my apartment, haha.

I actually told my h that it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I mean the humidity sucks balls and there's been some hot days, but this week hasn't been awful. And there's been a couple of days like that lately.

We've had some 90+ days with high humidity but nothing above 94 and nothing longer than a few days. I HATE really hot summers so I'm enjoying this weather as much as possible.
Even with the relatively temperate weather, I'm dying most afternoons. It must be the pregnancy because man, I usually don't die in 85 degree weather. Most days I feel like I got hit by a bus or something.

August might kill us all, but usually even in July there are far more 90+ degree days. At least according to my memory??

Yes, the weather has been awesome where I am!!!
Random: My sweet earthy neighbor stopped by yesterday to chat about a few things, and as she walked away Nolan said, "where is the small man going?" I almost died since 2 year olds say such funny things, but she is short and does have very short hair, so I can't blame him. Lol. I hope she did not hear him.

I don't think you will regret getting one. I have profound peace of mind with mine. Love love love it.

My BFF is coming to visit this weekend, and I'm freaking out. Like, of course I'm excited to visit with her (we live just over 3 hours apart but grew up just streets apart). Anyhow, her home is immaculate, completely perfect and lovely. We have been in our rental for 6 weeks now and we are sooo not ready for visitors to stay long enough to actually look around. Nooo. I just hate having loved ones over when I feel so far from ready. I miss being proud of my home. In time I know well get there again. They are sleeping in the basement that has a nasty old green rug, with a major rip in it. Of course, she leaves on Monday and landlord is replacing that nasty rug on Monday. Argh.
Logan's been in bed for a half hour then he started whining and fussing for his Police Car. So I gave it to him, but now I keep hearing the siren over the monitor. MIL says he did the same thing at nap time.
