I make cold brewed coffee with the same stuff I make regular coffee with. 1 cup coffee grounds, 4 cups water, let sit, strain. I strain again though a coffee filter
eta- this makes a concentrate- I add more water to it when I make my coffee in the morning

I don't know shit about coffee, so you'll have to tell me what kind to buy, LOL. Currently, I have Folgers in my fridge, hah!
Can you give me a brand that is good? Seriously, I am coffee stupid.
Not Folgers. LOL. Buy something that comes in a bag vs. a can.
I usually buy my coffee at Target or Costco. Target's store brand (Archer Farms) are labeled light, medium, dark (with a more descriptive title) - medium or dark would be fine. Dark is often called French Roast. That will work.

Folgers is just fine. As a matter of fact it makes really good cold brew. In a blind taste test I picked Folgers cold brew over H's home roasted beans....twice.

Really? LOL, I will have to try it sometime. We have folgers k-cups at my work right now and they are even worse than regular k-cups.
Jalapeñomel, I'd work with what you have before I bought something new. :-)
I'm at my last tablespoon, so I'm at the point where I can get something new. I still don't like the taste at all, but if I don't have it, I cannot keep my eyes open anymore.

I Use the method on The Pioneer Woman as well. I love using Godiva's chocolate truffle coffee (I only buy it when it's on sale). Typically, I'll use Dunkins donuts French Vanilla.

I use the Pioneer Woman recipe/method with Dunkin Donuts regular coffee. I also make a simple syrup (1:1 ratio) that I keep in the fridge. I put some simple syrup and Coffemate Natural Bliss Sweet Cream in it and it's yummy!

I used the Pioneer Woman recipe and forgot to dilute it with water. I was HIIIGGHHH. I have used fancy Italian coffee, Dunkin, and Caribou. I like the Caribou. I use 2/3 a cup of fresh ground coffee to 3 cups of water.
