As a infant, DS would stare over my shoulder into empty space, looking at nothing, and smile and laugh and point. I would twirl around to see WTF was there, and it was always nothing. It was so creepy, I was like "WTF DS, do you see a ghost?!?"

so creepy!
I remember as a kid, I swore there was an old woman pushing a shopping cart in my room. My mom came in and turned on the lights, the shadows in the room were casting weird vibes around the furniture and a stuffed animal. Kids have active imaginations!
So creepy! My nephew used to always tell my Aunt about "the man" in her house when she babysat him, and now she is babysitting my cousin's son a couple of days a week and he keeps pointing up the stairs and then looking at my Aunt and smiling. No thanks!

My 2 1/2 year old daughter asked me "who is downstairs?" when we were getting ready for daycare one day a few weeks ago. I said "nobody." She said, "yes mama airess is downstairs." I told her there was no one but us in the house and she said "mama, airess is downstairs. Airess in the basement." When I asked her, she told me that that airess is a girl and she lives in our house. I was a little freaked out. I had not heard her use that name before.
This all fascinates me, because it is not at my house, but totally freaks me out.
She is still talking about it. 'mama, will the face come back tonight? Can you shut the window sheets (curtains) so he can't see me? Is the face mean?'
When I was three I told me mom that at night a big black man comes and sits and the end of my bed and stares at me. Fucking oak tree shadow.
I was a creepy kid too. I had a tinker bell light in my bedroom, and when the wind would blow through the window , it would make the lamp twirl and weird shadows would bounce on the walls. I would scream that there was a ghost in my room.
I'm going to sit in her room tonight to see if I can figure out what she saw.
ETA: and if an actual face appears, I'll probably die.

Hmmm, going on a limb here. Any deceased relatives? I swear my grandma is here a lot. My son does things that are just like she is here and that freaks me out.
He once went nuts in Target over a box of club crackers, he had never seen the box before or had one. He kept pointing at it over and over. When I put them in the cart he calmed down. I ended up buying them and he ate a ton. My grandma LOVED club crackers. They were her favorite food - seriously.
The creepy thing is he always passes one or two to the empty chair to his right during lunch!!!!
That's both hilarious and creepy. I'd be saying a special prayer and burning sage tonight. But I believe in ghosts.
I do too. Hence my panic. Lol.
When I first bought the house there were dried herbs of some sort in all of the closets and many of the windows. I don't know why. Maybe they were afraid of ghosts.

Yes. There are some. If she actually saw someone, it wasn't a nice spirit. She is afraid of it. She won't go in her bedroom alone.
