I started doing green smoothies for breakfast today. I don't dislike them, but making them every morning proves to be a challenge. But I am hoping I can stick with them. I need to do better with eating. I also started taking the prenatal vitamins here we go
ETA: what are everybody's favorite green smoothie recipes? This morning I did baby kale, a peach, 2 dates, flax seed, rolled oats, and iced ginger tea.
The workshop I facilitated went really well yesterday. Now I need to get ready to do it again today!
I am interviewing 4 candidates tomorrow for a new role that will help with some of my workload. I keep forgetting and get excited to wear jeans tomorrow (I've had to get fairly dressed up every day this week) but then remember I should look fairly professional. I am ready for the weekend.

I've stopped doing this, but for a good while, I would make a giant batch of green smoothies and store them in small mason jars in the fridge. Each one was an individual serving. Pull it out of the fridge, shake it up, and go. Super easy and only one round of clean up. If you don't mind drinking the same kind for a week, it works well.
My favorite is baby kale and spinach, pineapple, canned coconut milk, and banana.

Do they keep OK? I definitely don't mind the same thing all week, since I only buy stuff for one kind at a time anyway.
I want to start working out before work too, so making ahead would be ideal. I wonder if I froze them, if I could toss it into my bag and maybe it would melt in time to have after my workout?
I'm going to be really really sad when I have to start working Fridays again. I'm hoping it doesn't happen until after Labor Day like last year.
After a busy weekend last week, we have nothing planned for this one. YAY!! Hopefully that means we can get the table finished and moved in. The last 2 chairs I ordered will be in on Tues.
Added some squats throughout the day just to break up sitting at my desk. My thighs hate me this morning.
There is a guy at work that smells like hangover every morning. Like, you can still smell the alcohol on him.
I would never in a million years say anything, but at this point I'm pretty sure he has a problem and I feel bad for him. My dad is an alcoholic and both times it was his work that convinced him that he needed rehab. I hope my coworker can find a way to be sober and healthy.
E has started flailing around when I feed him. He's smacked me in the face countless times and each time he does I say "ow! That hurt!" And he just grins at me. Brat.
My mom and sister are on vacation in Seattle. I am green with envy.
@missusbee, when I make them, sometimes I use the freezer storage tray that came with my Baby Bullet. lol. You can pop two frozen pods out and let them thaw while you're working out, maybe.
It is pouring rain here and my hair is in a pony tail. Blah.
I wish I had the extra money to replace my entire work wardrobe I have right now. I want to throw everything out and start over.

My job is sucking the life out of me. I'm hiring a resume writer and going on a MAJOR applying spree since I'm off for two weeks starting Monday.
And this is probably flameful, but I sort of want to leave my government job and find a position within one of the local school districts (obviously a substantial paycut since I have no teaching degree) so my schedule can coincide with my girls' as they get older.
I have a phone interview today for a job I REALLY want in our new town. It's on base, which means car-pooling, DS will be in daycare on base, and the big kids in the youth program. It would be SO GREAT to have that convenience. Job dust around here seems to work wonders, so I'll take it of you've got it.

We've been hanging at my parents this week. I don't wanna go because I love them and all, but I'm so excited to go home and do what I want. Like sleep naked and leave my shoes out.
I just went into a bathroom at work that I don't normally go in, and someone drew a dick on the stall wall. Seriously? It's a bunch of olds around here, I wonder who did it!
