I've struggled to gain weight my whole life. I wish I had kept 30 of the 60lbs I gained.
Okay. Sure. But is this the post to include "not long" with a little zip up lip and nothing more? No, it isn't. Obviously you are aware of how difficult it is to struggle with weight.

You're right. My apologies to anyone offended.
I have to say, I wasn't offended. I was hurt. Here I am in here being all vulnerable and someone sashays in "oh, me? not long." WTF. You know? I'm sure I've done the same on occasion, but that was why I emojiid you. "Not long" with a "but I've struggled with being underweight blah blah" would've been way way different.

With #1, I gained 27 lbs. and lost it all in less than six weeks...when I stepped on the scale at my PP checkup, I was at pre-PG weight. Turns out it was due to post-partum thyroiditis, a method I don't recommend.
With #2 I gained 22 lbs. and it took closer to six months going about it the "normal" way of diet and exercise.

Almost 1 yr but I wasn't really trying until the last 8 weeks either. I went down 2 lbs under while BF and gained so many after I weaned (so I don't count that now).
By three weeks PP I was under my pre-preg weight, but that was due in large part to my complete lack of appetite for almost two weeks after I had her, so I don't really feel like that was realistic. By the time she was two months old I'd gained back 8lbs, and I've gained 12 more since then, unfortunately. Just re-joined WW to get that off, plus the 60lbs I need to lose on top of that.
I gained 14 pounds during my pregnancy and 8 days PP I had lost 27 pounds. I managed to keep that off for a decent amount of time, but then we were so GD poor that we were eating shit for food and I gained all of it (and then some) back.

I gained around 25 pounds and lost the first 20 pretty quickly. The last 6 were more challenging. I think it was all gone by around 6 months postpartum. I've since lost more, but veryyyyyy slowly.
I will say it took longer for me to look at my body and see the difference rather than on the scale. My hips were larger for awhile. I think around a year they went back to what I was used to seeing pre-pregnancy.

I gained 60lbs and lost the first 30 within a couple of weeks, I was really puffy at the end so I think it was a lot of water. It took about another year to get within ten pounds of PP weight. I breastfed for 10.5 months. I've since gained 20 back so I'm about 30lbs aways from PP weight, but I'm working on it.
I gained 12. Left the hospital at +17 thanks to all the fluids. Lost 18lbs between 2&3 weeks post-partum and have been there ever since.
I was fat to start with though, so there's that. I may have lost the baby weight, but I still have my own weight to lose - around 40lbs.
I had GD again, and I'm pretty sure the diet was a major reason why I didn't gain much and why it came off quickly. I was trying to avoid medication this time so I had to be really strict with food and exercise weeks 26 through 35. Basically, I suck at motivation without a compelling medical reason. :/ So my motivation now is trying to stave off type 2 diabetes since the GD put me at a higher risk.

I'm almost 13 months post-baby; gained about 35 lbs. during pregnancy. I was small before I got pregnant; I'm definitely more on the normal side now. I don't know that I will ever lose much more than I have at this point. I am big for me, but smaller than the average woman, so I can't complain. I do wish I could tone up, but I haven't made an effort recently. FWIW, I EPed for 3 months but never nursed; not sure if being able to nurse would have helped the weight loss.
25 years and counting. (Well, with my first it took six months but I had incentive since XH was on a boat for seven months. With number 2 it was a bit longer. By the time I got to number 4 I'd hit too busy to bother exercising and didn't care if I was dressed.)
I only gained 15 pounds my entire pregnancy (I was overweight prior to getting pregnant), and then gave birth to a chunker (9lb, 10oz), so with that and then losing the fluid and the placenta, by the time they wheeled me out of the operation room I was a bit under my pre-baby weight.
That being said, my body is pretty much wrecked, so while the number on the scale is lower than I was pre-baby, I look like a horror show naked. My nipples point to the floor and my boobs look a little deflated, and I have a lot of skin that just hangs in a flap over part of my pubic region. Like a skin apron. Ugggh. I'm getting motivated and have cleaned up my diet and started exercising but my body has definitely seen some shit, lol.

Well my youngest is just 21, so hopefully soon.... With my 1st it took no time at all, then my 2nd was only 15 mths later and it took about a year for the weight, but my stomach was never the same. After last DD 5 years later it just never happened, I tried but it's like nothing worked and I'm not super motivated to exercise like I should.
I gained 28lbs with my 1st DD and lost it all in 3 months. I BF for a year I gained 26lbs with my 2nd DD and was back in my prepregnancy jeans/clothes in 2 weeks. I BF her for a year too.
