Umm, I am still working on it. Lol I had a lingering 10 pounds from each pregnancy, but have finally shed the most recent 10 and am working on baby weight numero uno!
Fifteen months out, I'm still fifteen pounds up. I hope those numbers don't always stay the same. I just started losing this summer after losing in the first six weeks pp.
I gained 23 lbs and according to my old posts here I lost about 12 lbs in the first few weeks. But then I got terrible BFing diet advice ie eat Paula Deen level butter because you need fat to make your milk fatter. At one point the scale went 2 lbs higher than my pregnancy weight.
I weaned from EPing about 5 weeks ago and had 2 good weeks of eating well. But the last 3 weeks have me stress eating again. I just signed up for those mall stroller gym classes to force myself into a routine. I am almost 8 months pp.
I started pregnancy 20 lbs overweight. I refused to have ANY pictures of pregnant me taken.

W DS 1- 18 mo. And I gained about 70 lbs. yeah.
W DS 2 I was in way better shape and had much healthier habits so I only gained 35 and lost most right away- and have the last 5 lbs hanging on for the past 11.5 mo. But I give about less than an eighth of a fvck because I feel like I'm way healthier and much happier not stressing about it. Plus, the twerking looks better with a little more junk in the trunk. KWIM?
I am fairly fit (run 4-5 times a week, lift weights 2-3 times a week) and it still took me around 6 months to be "back to normal." I had gained about 25lbs with each of my 3 babies. Give yourself some time and be easy on yourself. It's a marathon, not a sprint. You gained it slowly and that's the best way to lose it also. Be kind to yourself, your body did an amazing thing!
I also have a theory if you gain small amounts it is much harder or slower to drop that weight.
People who gain large amounts normally have retained a good amount of fluid so that drops quickly. For me with Leo I only gained 25 lbs and only dropped 15 of those pounds in the first 6 months. It was annoying. Like my placenta+baby+fluid probably weighed 15 lbs. That was all I lost lol.
I had to really be strict for the last 10 to come off. It was super hard work.
I didn't with my first, I gained 25 lbs with him but due to poor eating habits I gained weight after having him, with my second I lost 20 lbs while I was pregnant and only gained 10 pounds total after I had him I dropped another 15 lbs.
Lost another 20 by 1 year, with the help of a very expensive personal trainer and at a cost of mental health, sanity, and considerable stress caused by carving out time I didn't have for training sessions.
I dropped the trainer and now at 2 years out, I am above PP weight by 10-15 pounds. It sucks, but I'm at a point in my life where there is only so much time to go around, and with a full time working schedule, I refuse to piss away the only time I have with my son slaving away, alone, in a gym. I eat healthy and exercise when I can and hopefully in a few years I'll have time to do more.

I haven't yet. Gained 35 during the pregnancy. Lost 25 pretty naturally in the first few weeks. Now DS is 10.5 months and I've re-gained 5. Down to nursing twice a day, going to wean soon, so interested to see what happens when I fully wean.
I am very sedentary, and I don't watch what I eat Prior to pregnancy I could mostly get away with that, maybe notsomuch any more.
Also, my belly is still flabby and huge. Diastasis recti FTW.
My body held on to ~5 lbs. each time until about a year out. Even in the cases where I had technically lost the weight I had gained while pg. (#1 and 3). I think it was related to nursing even though I didn't do it for very long.
Exactly a year each time. I gained more than the recommended amount and BF for over a year each time. After I weaned (at 19 mos and 2yrs, respectively) I went below pre pregnancy weight.
I gained 25 pounds, and at my 6 week appointment was up 5 pounds. Then I quit pumping and immediately gained 10 pounds, and I already wanted to lose weight anyway. I haven't done anything about it but bitch at this point; I'm still trying to get used to my new schedule and so far laying around like a sloth in my limited free time is more appealing than working out.
