I have a piece on the side. I see the dude once a week and we experiment with BDSM. He knows a lot more than I do, but my H isn't willing to try. H doesn't know. I will see him tomorrow night, so if I'm not on, you know where I'm at.

The boy band story reminds me I went to high school with a girl who regularly slept with one of the guys in Good Charlotte (not the Maddens) when he was in town. I remember going to one of their concerts and seeing her all upset, and then she dramatically slid down the wall at the venue crying because she found out he slept with someone in Ohio. Drama!
I submitted a book I've been working on for years out to a bunch of literary agents on a whim, and one picked me up. I haven't made any money yet and am in the process of doing a pretty extensive re-write/revision of the middle part of my book before they start shopping it around.
I am choosing to believe tots for two reasons. One because anyone that uptight and holier than thou has to have some kinky sexual stuff going on. Two because I want to.

SO EXCITING. Good luck to you! I hope you have a big success.

Thank you! I was really shocked that it got picked up, though I feel like I agonized over my query letters almost as much as I agonized over my novel, go figure!

Hm. I'm sure some of you know some of this because I dont have a whole lot to share and this question has come up over the years:
-I sang backup for Shania Twain on her '98 tour
-I have 70% hearing loss in my left ear
-I was a "kid DJ" on a local kids radio station which then became Radio Disney
-I fell out of a barn loft when I was a kid and a wooden stake impaled me through the back. (good thing I wasn't a vampire, eh?)
-I trained horses through HS and college and was involved in a bad accident where I ended up under a horse and was stepped on and kicked in the head
-My freshman year of college I was stalked by a someone who lived in my dorm. The end result was that he held a knife to my throat while police officers had guns drawn. He was arrested, expelled, and convicted of various charges. There has never been contact again and he no longer lives in my state.
-I was hit by a drunk driver and was taken to the hospital via ambulance. When the hospital contacted my exH, the first thing he asked about was the car :/ My parents ended up getting to the scene right after I left in the ambulance but one of the police officers told them that I had died A different officer immediately told them that I was alive and on my way to the hospital, but OMG, can you imagine?
I've had 3 full-time jobs since I graduated college. Up until I got pregnant, I also worked many many many part-time jobs. Here are just a few:
Waited tables at a sports bar Temp (between jobs) Security for a large concert facility Concierge for private suites in a university football stadium and their basketball arena Usher for a baseball stadium Home health aide
I've also taken hang gliding, wine tasting and beer appreciation classes at the community college where I work.

I used to pull my hair out when I was anxious. I have been "pull-free" for almost two months. This is a huge accomplishment for me. My doctor is amazing and once I had the nerve to tell her, she gave me these wonderful things to do and they worked! I was shocked!
I started doing it when I was married to my ex husband and found out that I was pregnant w DS1. The marriage was horrible, I was doing everything to prevent/abstain, it was not my choice. And yet, he is the most amazing thing that ever happened to me because I escaped for him.
So there's that. I'm okay now. Please don't judge me or think I'm weird.

I just wanna hug you! I hope you're in a happier, healthier place now.
I definitely am! I first tackled the sometimes paralyzing anxiety. That took a good bit of therapy and some lexapro. Then, the pulling was just a habit by that point. So that got taken care of.
And I'm getting my awesome hair back now! It's really cool/rewarding seeing it grow and get thick and long and healthy again.
Thanks It took a lot to come out and confess that. But since I've started being open about it, I've found a lot of support, too. So I took a chance and decided to tell you guys.
