I'm still in pain... (complete bitchy vent ahead)

I went to my doc last week and I have a muscle strain in my upper back/shoulder, which is causing serious pain. I have been to PT three times this week, as well as a massage. The PT has me on electric stim, ultrasound, and traction (which is a little creepy, but actually feels good). I've gotten some relief but I'm still not able to do much. I'm mostly lying on my back all day. I can swim, but I get tired pretty quickly. I can't bike or run, which totally sucks.

Meanwhile, DH is tiling our kitchen backsplash with no help from me. I feel like a slug.

I'm still dealing with pain, so I can totally commiserate with you. I've been doing traction as well, are you doing the device that has a pneumatic pump? Keep doing it, it really makes a difference. I still can't swim (I haven't tried my snorkel yet) or bike. Let's bitch and moan together.

I think so. My head is strapped in and it stretches my neck. It looks like a torture device!

I found it interesting that I could swim. At IMLP, after the storms and everyone was on the bike, DH and I went to swim one loop and I felt great until I stopped and stood up. I got real tired in the pool though.
