Oh wow. What's with all the vag apparel?!? Lol this is too much!
It's all the draping and ruffles! I can't remember which Project Runway contestant said it, but one said something along the lines of designers add ruffles when they can't figure out anything better to do and need to do something.
There's designers who can do great architectural details, but so many now don't. I am so sick of ruffles and roses.

Some poor girl is going to fall in love with that dress and think it's the most beautiful dress ever. Then one of us will show up at her wedding and wonder why she's wearing a giant vagina.
That is the most awesome wedding dress ever. It would be brilliant if David's Bridal became a sponsor of that show, The Virgin Diaries. The commercial could feature this dress because we all know the groom is thinking, "here comes the vag!" through the whole wedding, anyway.

Once again, I do not see a vagina. I don't even see a VULVA, which I'm sure is what you are actually talking about. I see ROSES. Just like last time this topic came up.
I don't understand how that would be flattering on anyone - why all the puffiness and embellishment right in front?
The biggest embelishment is the horsehair sash with giant flower that someone decided to style it with. The sketch makes it a little more appealing with less going on and the roses looking more like roses. It could be good and just make the roses look like roses without the sash. Who goes for horsehair accessories on their wedding day?

Ditto. I think people are just vagina-happy. It can be an ugly dress without having to look like something else.

I agree - now I did see it with some of the shoes that have been posted, but I don't see it here. Not my idea of a gorgeous dress, but I just see roses/abstract folds.
I can see it being a lot worse in person. A commercial photographer would have that dress starched within an inch of it's life to make it look like that. Put it on a rack in David's to get tried on and shoved around would make it a lot worse.

I feel like this bride needs to get Judy Chicago's The Dinner Party plates for her reception. It's a few dozen plates and placemats representing female writers. Here's Virginia Woolf:
