Two months In a row now, my darkest wondfo opk came before my CBE smiley showed up. Call me crazy for peeing on two sticks, but I'm trying to figure this out, and I find it interesting that they "disagree."
Last month I got a very dark, though not clearly positive early in the day cd 15. I bought CBE smileys and retested that evening with new test and repeated with wondfo- smiley on CBE, less dark on wondfo.
This month I've been using CBEs since cd 14, thinking I'd O around the same time. Because CBEs are expensive, I'd use them once a day and wondfos another time every day. I saw nothing positive cd 14,15,16,17...and I was sure I was not going to O this month.
I had cd 19 blood work that showed I hadn't Oed. Repeated blood work cd 21 and though I don't yet have results, I was sure it would also show no O.
I kept POASing to confirm my suspicion, but to my surprise got a very dark wondfo yesterday morning on cd 22. I dipped the same sample with CBE and didn't get a smiley. Around 3:00 I tried another sample and got a smiley but I dipped a wondfo in the same sample and it was not as dark. Yesterday evening around 11, both types showed a negative. This morning, smiley and not ask dark wondfo.
I have no question that I've detected a surge here, but why do they disagree? It's strange, right? Anyone else had something similar happen?
I don't temp. I will probably try again next month, but I have PCOS and breath through my mouth at night, so temping is fickle.
If you're a mouth breather, try vag temping. (For those who have been her a while... I know I know, it worked for that one girl, made all the difference and got her pregnant the first cycle :-P this is only slightly tic )
It sounds weird, but it is good for mouth breathers since the vagina is a consistent temperature. And I hadn't noticed my PCOS messing with my temps so much as my sleep cycle. Even with a funky sleep cycle, I still noticed a temperature shift.
