For the past few days (maybe since last Thursday?) I've been having really bad pain in my left hip region. It probably starts a few inches left of my tailbone and is concentrated there. Occasionally I have pain or slight numbness (feels like restlessness, I guess?) in my left leg/foot but mostly it's just a sharp pain in the hip. It doesn't always hurt- lying down seems to help, as does walking around enough for it to get stretched out. Sometimes it's totally fine and doesn't hurt at all.
Any suggestions on what this is? Would you call your OB? Nothing else seems off so I really don't know what they would do even if I did call.
I've had a similar pain that is concentrated right in the middle of my butt cheek, if I've been sitting for too long. It usually feels better after walking for a bit.
I'd probably mention it at my next appointment and see what they say unless it gets worse.

sciatic nerve pain? maybe piriformis syndrome (sciatic nerve pinched in crampy butt muscle). I had the later, found laying on a small hard ball (a racquet ball) on the sore spot relaxed the muscle. But I was in BAD pain when it was at its worse. it still flares up but isn't nearly as bad.
Sciatica is my best guess too. At first I thought I'd pulled a muscle, but it hasn't gotten any better since last week. It also hasn't gotten worse, which I'm hoping is a good sign
I've had something like that, too, for quite a while and started around my second tri. It's a sharp stabbing pain in an area I would call my lower back but on the hip bone on the left. I've had this pain before pregnancy if I lifted something wrong in the past. Only for me, laying down without my legs supported hurts.
I found doing stretches for areas around my hips helped a bit with it, but it always came back. I was seeing a trainer at the time and he was saying that as my ligaments relax and my hips become less supported other areas become tight and pull.
I still have it, among other hip pain, and I just deal with it, ice it, or if I've been busy and have really aggravated the area I take Tylenol.
I have this occasionally and my doctor said it was pelvic girdle pain. Your ligaments get loose thanks to relaxin and sometimes there is shifting at the SI joint.

My doctor called this round ligament pain from the shifting. Call the OB. They cannot help you if they do not know what you are experiencing.
My guess would also be sciatica. Possibly round ligament pain, but the numbness really makes me think sciatica. I'm not really sure what is recommended to deal with it...sorry! Hope it gets better.
