I am so so sorry. MS is scary since it is so unpredictable. My mom was diagnosed when I was only a year old. Hers has been in remission since 1992 now and she takes no medication for it currently.
Also The treatments for MS have come a really long way in the last 30 years. I'd encourage you guys to contact your local chapter of the MS Society for information and support.

This is really nice to hear, thank you. The unpredictability is tough - it could be life changing, or it could be relatively no big deal.
I'm sorry Big hugs to you. I hope he ends up in the category of people for whom MS is not a big deal!

I am very sorry to hear this. As others have said, treatment has come a long, long, way.
DH and I have participated in the local MS Bike Ride for the last five years, and the people I've encountered that have MS AND/or are caring for someone with MS have said great things about the NMSS and their help at the local level.
Also, if there is one, I would look for a MS specialist vs. a neurologist. Of course the neurologist can help, but I found the MS specialist was more helpful when they thought I had it (I don't).
Hugs. I am so sorry. Like pp said though, it might be okay in the end. One of my bfs has MS and you'd never know it. I also work with a girl who is my age (32ish) and has had it for over 15 years. She has her days TBH but she has gone on to lead a very full and "normal" life.
