My anatomy scan is next week, and I'm still not feeling any real movement. Sometimes I sense something but I'm still not sure it's the baby! I almost feel like it's too on the surface? Rather than deeper where the uterus is. It's so intensely frustrating.

Good thoughts @kcpokergal!
@sessalee - I didn't feel anything until a couple weeks after my anatomy scan. I saw the baby moving like crazy on the u/s, but felt nothing - try not to get too discouraged yet!
I looked at my pregnancy app this morning - it says 99 days to go. Holy crap!
Hope everything is ok @kcpokergal, keep us updated.
For the past week or so I've had pelvic/groin pain, which basically feels like I've been kicked in the crotch. I'm guess it's all part of the stretching/loosening of the muscles, from what I've been reading, but it really sucks.

Is this your first? It took until 19wks before I started suspecting a kick with DS, but really another week plus before I realized what it was. Also, it wasn't deep but like a light gas bubble feeling that just traveled a little up my belly. It's normal!
Yeah my first! Thank you for the anecdote that helps! It's hard b/c my bff is also pregnant and she was feeling very regular movement at 18 weeks, which is today. Though she's super skinny/tiny and I am not.

Whew! Lab Corp messed up my antibody testing (along with 30 other patients). They can't guarantee the negative was correct, so I'm just going to go do the test again.
I'm so tired today. It's super hot this week which seems to make me exhausted plus I've been sleeping like crap. I just hate how when I go to sleep my stomach feels so uncomfortable, but when my alarm goes off I'm nice and snuggly.
A coworker's daughter just had her baby and it's getting me more and more excited. I know some fear labor, and maybe I will as it gets closer but right now I can't wait. I love being pregnant but also can't wait until they're here.

So probably nothing at all.
I am sure its nothing too, but wanted to say good luck.

It was around 20 weeks before I felt movement daily, and even then it wasn't much. Now I feel them kick all day. Just give it time. I swear overnight they turned into kicking machines.
@sessalee, last time the book trick helped me feel movement. After you eat a meal, lay on your back and put a book on your stomach and push down lightly. The baby will have something to kick against which makes it feel more pronounced. Also, movement early on doesn't feel like kicks--for me, it feels either like bubbles or popcorn popping.
@sessalee I didn't feel movement for a long time (and still don't!) but when I did start to feel something it was like a small muscle spasm in my abdomen. It wasn't very deep either.
vtdiamond - I started that a few weeks ago, it was mild but now it's getting so hard to do anything without wincing in pain. And now my upper back and whole rib cage has been sore for a few days. I thought I did too much but I think it's because my ute is now pushing up on the cage and diaphragm. It's just one thing after another!
My random: I HAVE FEET AND ANKLES TODAY YOU GUYS! For the first time since MAY I woke up to NORMAL feet and ankles. Like legit skinny calves and bony feet! They aren't even a little bit puffy. can actually flex my toes backwards and it feels soooo good! The skin looks really dry and wrinkled, though. I have no clue what happened but now I'm afraid to walk around and puff them back up.
I need like 2 full non-weekend days to get shit done. I'm not sleeping well, and between that, general fatigue, and anxiety over my total lack of control, I'm a bit of a mess. I have an ob appt today, and I'm going to push them for a plan regarding early induction so I can stop worrying about it.

Everyone is different, but it is hard when your BFF is pg at the same time. I promise you will feel solid kicks soon enough. To make you feel better, I really didn't know what to expect so those early kicks always felt like gas bubbles to me. Ha.
I second this - try not to listen to what "everyone else" experienced and go by what your Dr. says is normal or OK. I was showing really quickly and everyone at work kept saying "oh, I bet it's fun when you feel the baby move around in there" and I had yet to feel a damn thing. And then when I would say that they would frown and say "oh, really? You really can't feel anything??" It would make me so damn nervous!!! That was around 18-19 weeks.
It also wasn't until after my 20 week AS that I felt any little flutters at all (maybe around week 23?) and I still don't feel her constantly b/c I have an anterior placenta (nerve wracking!!)
But - she just now stuck some body part (foot?) out of the right side of my stomach....so she's apparently moving in there...haha.
My random is that my H sucks at buying ice cream. For some reason he has in his head that I want something "healthy," so he first bought me some no sugar added ice cream sandwiches. Of course they are sweetened with something, and it's Splenda, which tastes disgusting to me. Then last night he came home with these weird soy bars b/c I told him about some good ice cream bars I picked up myself last week. We had a good laugh about it, but I think I just need to buy my own desserts from now on!
@sessalee with DD I seriously didn't feel anything until 23/24 weeks and only regular movements starting at about 25 weeks. I had anterior placenta but I also think I just didn't know exactly what I was feeling. It was only small bubbly things until she was bigger. This time I think I was just able to recognize it earlier and having two probably makes them more noticeable as well.
FastHands - *hugs* You tell them what you need. Be the boss. And can you change your SN to fasty so I don't have to think so hard to tag you. Baby brain and all!
@sessalee - I am 21 weeks and barely feel the kicks and only if I am laying in bed, hand on belly pushing a little and concentrating. Don't worry! It will come!
I need my bump to catch up with my boobs and my bloating. Bc right now I just look FAT.
Me too. Well, I am fat anyway, but my stomach fat seems to be rearranging unpleasantly though I don't think I've actually gained any weight. It's weird.
I think I'm going to order maternity pants today. Because I want super comfy pants.
I'm getting my car's carseat situation figured out today by the AAA guy. I want to DH to just go find someone to do it for his car too, but I know it will probably just be me doing it in the end. Same with getting the cars vacuumed. ::sigh::

Yeah. After going through a loss and my grandfather dying, I gained some weight and am officially the heaviest I've ever been. Ever. It is super depressing. That is not how I wanted to begin a pregnancy.

Good news, @kcpokergal. Those cryptic vm messages are the worst! I'm waiting for my doctor to call back as I have been eating a ton of the recalled almond butter, and having abdominal pain. I hope I didn't hurt the baby.
