Good news, @kcpokergal. Those cryptic vm messages are the worst! I'm waiting for my doctor to call back as I have been eating a ton of the recalled almond butter, and having abdominal pain. I hope I didn't hurt the baby.
Oh no! Good luck. Hopefully it's just an upset tummy and nothing. Serious.
I got Dunkin Donuts for my students this morning and there is one donut left over. I already had one this morning, but it's taking all of my willpower not to eat it with my lunch, and save it for an after school snack.
My aunt bought us our high chair and a bunch of other little stuff from our registry already, plus tons of clothes. It's really nice, but I feel guilty coming home every other day from work to another package from her. Gift giving is definitely my aunt's love language.
I can't use rubber bands on my pants because they have a hook thing, not a regular button.
I did just unbutton them though and that's awesome. Sitting at my desk with a long shirt. I'm klassy.
Lol I had the same problem and did this many times after school. I always wore a long cardigan and shirt, so my pants were in no danger of falling down, but it's still strange to unbutton your pants at work...
H & I get to spend our evening at a breastfeeding class. He is less than thrilled, but due to his work schedule he can't make it to any of the other classes. I told him if I have to sit by myself through the 8 hour childbirth class, he can handle a few hours of breastfeeding info. I'm making him get cheeseburgers for dinner too.
Also, my friend sent out the invites for my baby shower! I'm going to have to restrain myself from being an obsessive registry stalker.
I just ordered some maternity stuff. Hopefully something fits.
I bought pants, a bathing suit, tops, a hoodie, a skirt. I'll need to get jeans and probably 2 nicer tops later. It was all pretty inexpensive. Discount doubles to figure out size and some random stuff for DH, I think I only spent $200 for the better part of a wardrobe.
I have to wear business casual 2 days a week. I fully plan to wear the exact two outfits for as long as needed.
Oooh, @choco, aren't we similarly far along? I'm definitely rockin' the rubber band trick today, but that dress idea sounds awesome.
I've already been buying some strategic cardigans and scarves to cover up, but it's not really cold enough for it yet.
Yes we are, I'm a day behind you! The rubber band trick never worked for me but dresses keep me happy. I bought a few during the Gap and ON Friends and Family sale a few weeks ago. They aren't maternity, just stretchy. Sooo sooo worth it in this heat (I live in Atlanta). My office is super cold so I can get away with cardigans during the work week. Heh.
We're the same in DC. A/c is blasted everywhere. I'm about to unbutton these jeans and hide it under my giant drapey cardiwrap.
@sessalee, I don't think I can get away with all dresses at 9w! Although you should see me around 8pm. My stomach is HUGE.
Sitting at work is soooo uncomfortable! I dread having 12 weeks left so sit. I put a box under my legs to raise my feet and that helps. Too bad I can't be on a couch while working.
Whew! Lab Corp messed up my antibody testing (along with 30 other patients). They can't guarantee the negative was correct, so I'm just going to go do the test again.
So probably nothing at all.
That's a relief. I'm glad they are testing again just to be sure and I hope it's nothing.
My anatomy scan is next week, and I'm still not feeling any real movement. Sometimes I sense something but I'm still not sure it's the baby! I almost feel like it's too on the surface? Rather than deeper where the uterus is. It's so intensely frustrating.
I'm almost 20 weeks and still can't feel anything either. When I lie down I can see what side he's hanging out on and sometimes I see when he shifts, but it feels like nothing!
Part of me can't wait to feel the movement and part of me feels I might be eating my words when it's distracting me or keeping me up at night.

Haha this exactly!
I can also tell kind of where bebe is sitting. S/he likes the right side most of the day.
I am at the hospital. My blood pressure is all over the place and I keep having headaches.
I hope everything is OK. Keep us posted.
Thanks, sorry I should have updated earlier. I am home, but have to go back tomorrow for more monitoring. My blood pressure kept going up and then dropping then rising again. It's not excessively high, but high enough for concern. But my doctor also found traces of protein in my urine and I keep having headaches with flashing before my eyes. I am just hoping this behaves itself until September. I want a September baby, not an August baby.
