I really like these sneakers for DD2. (Size 6). I'm worried the bottom will be too thick and inflexible. We've always bought SKR Mary Janes with the thinner sole. Tracking them down IRL might be tough, so I thought I'd ask first. Anyone have these? Are they pretty flexible?

Do the SKR Mary Janes have leather soles? The sneakers will be a little firmer than that because it's a rubber sole but they are still very flexible. M has had various boy version of that shoe.
How old is your DD? M wore leather soles until he was 19ish months & then went straight to SKR sneakers. (size 9!)
DD has those. She's had various SKR sneakers since she became a competent runner, and she hasn't had a problem with them. I don't think they're actually any firmer than her SKR Mary Janes with the rubber soles.
We switched from leather soles to real soles (like the one OP linked) at 18 months. DS has had several versions of that style of SKR sneaker. They've always been great.
I find that my DD does okay with the thicker soles only if the shoe fits really well. If it's at all too big, even the 'she'll grow into it soon' too big, she just trips. She's typically an extremely competent walker.
