I hope the MRI give you more answers. I would ask for a spinal tap while they have her sedated, too. If the MRI rules out a stroke, the spinal tap would be the next step anyways. It will save time and money to have her put under just once.

We just got Emma admitted the the university vet hospital. They are going to keep her in an oxygen tank, give her an iv and keep her bundled for the rest of the night. Tomorrow internal medicine will do an MRI and spinal tap.

Emma is still in ICU but she is making progress. She had an MRI today that showed no brain tumor. It did show she has had trauma to her brain. She had either a stroke or stroke like event. They put food in front of her and she ate it all up. They are keeping her again tonight and will call us in the morning. We may be able to bring her home tomorrow. We will need to continue to bundle her so she can sleep and will learn exerciser to help her rebuild her legs. We still got a long road ahead but it looks promising for now.
