Hugs!!! I am one of the horror stories, but I did feel a lot better in the 2nd tri. I still had morning sickness, but it was able to be controlled with zofran and only happened in the mornings.
I tried everything that I could think of (even acupuncture). Zofran made me able to function. In the evenings I would go home and not move. DH and Henry would play in front of me, so that I got some time with Henry even though I couldn't actually play. He would run over and give me a hug, then go back to playing.
It will get better.
And you should go ahead and buy some cute baby dresses, its a girl!
Lou was begging me to go outside and play and i literally couldn't, so i just started bawling. I felt terrible.
That is the worst feeling. I'm sorry.
I only vomited a few times, but I had really had afternoon nausea and headaches until week 14. It's subsided a bit, but I still get super nauseous 2-4 days a week.
This pregnancy is way worse than my first. I have been so, so sick and have lost about 15 pounds. I'm 11 weeks 4 days now, and I actually had a good day yesterday. Today isn't so bad either. I really hope this is a turning point, but we'll see. I really hope you start feeling better soon.

To give you some hope I do want reiterate that 8-10 weeks was the worst. I would just lay on the floor in the living room and keep pressing play on the remote for Netflix. We watched so much TV and did iPad during that time. Hang in there. It sucks.
Too long. Even now, 2 years later and not pregnant, my stomach just isn't the same. I get nauseous so easily by things like sittin gon a swing with one of the boys.
I just have to learn how to function. I look as pale as a ghost. My whole office probably knows from hearing me dry heave in the bathroom.
I'm so sorry! This was me with J. I actually started vomiting before my BFP. The only thing that helped was preggie pops because they were SO sour that it overrode the nausea.
I was sick the entire time except for a random three weeks around 20 weeks. I am really worried that this time will be worse but I'm not sure yet. Last time I was teaching first grade which was awful at least this time I do not have student groups
I am 10 weeks and feeling a lot better, it was the same with Lily. I still have some food aversions and smells bother me but my nausea is gone. I hope you start feeling better soon! The thing that helps me the most is sour things and ginger. Lemon water, lemonade Popsicles and lime Popsicles, sour patch kids and sour hard candy. I make water with lemon and grated ginger and that helps too. Don't feel bad about not going outside, you're a great mom and this phase will pass. Hang in there!
