Can MSPI babies have lactose? Our naturopath just prescribed Nat. Phos. 6x for A to help treat his reflux. It's a homeopathic tissue salt. It contains lactose. She's off today so I can't call her. She knows we're dairy free so I can't imagine she would tell us to give him something he couldn't have. Ugh.

It took 2 full weeks for the prevacid to start working. It's been 4 days without now and reflux is back. I'm scared to wait too long before I restart incase I have to wait another 2 weeks for him to get better. I can't wait till tomorrow. It seems like forever away.
Really glad the no corn is helping! I also agree I'd give it a shot and see if the Naturopath's remedy seems to help or hurt. Hopefully you have it all figured out soon!
if the no corn seems to be helping why would she suggest prilosec again? didnt you say it has corn?
I hope this new medicine helps him quickly
Because his reflux is getting out of control again. We are worried about the constant reflux harming his esophagus and he has been miserable all day. He is much worse now than he was on the prevacid. I'm hoping that if I cut out all corn and corn byproducts from my diet, the minimal amount of corn in the prevacid won't hurt him. I guess right now it's just a matter of which is the lesser evil. It sucks. The no corn is improving his poop and cradle cap but the no prevacid is making his reflux worse. He's been screaming and refluxing all day

that sucks. poor baby. you are amazing, i am inspired by your strength in all this
I would try it. Lactose and milk protein are different things. He might be okay with the lactose. I would stop immediately if he seems more distressed.

I think it was pretty much a fail. He was really bad last night. Pumping his legs, thrashing his head around, screaming. Waiting for her to call me this afternoon and see what to do now. I will either wait a day or two and see how he does, or if his reflux is really bad today I'll give him prevacid and wait until we see the GI on the 8th. He is the sweetest thing ever. He will be screaming and pumping his legs, in obvious pain, and then will look at me and smile. It breaks my heart. Love him.
