I was making gummies for the kids (don't judge-- it's a great way to get veggies in them) and I didn't use enough gelatin. Can I put the semi-gelled juice back in the blender, add some liquid, and then add more gelatin?
if the answer is yes, do I add one more pack for a total of three (which is what I should have used originally), or start fresh with three more packs.
I really don't want to toss the whole batch. That shit is expensive.

Would reheating the gelled stuff until it was liquid again, and adding the third pack, be possible? I've never used gelatin, but I'd think it'd be smoother if you reheated and added as opposed to adding it when it's semi-solid already, even blended. But it'd take that much longer. Bummer. : /

OK, I had an issue with this when I was trying to make knockoff gatorade gummies. You'll need to reheat the gummies until they're liquid and whisk in more gelatin while the liquid is still warm. That should work.

Are we talking about unflavored gelatin? I agree, that I'd probably heat the still-soft stuff slightly and then add in more gelatin softened in a small amount of water. I wouldn't melt the existing until it's really hot, but just warm enough to dissolve the new gelatin granules.
isabel, I buy carrot juice and add spinach, bananas, berries, whatever I g have on hand. Then I add about a tablespoon of honey and some vanilla extract. Sometimes I put in coconut milk and protein powder. The kids love them!
Ok, thanks everyone. I'll reheat and add one more packet.
