Good morning! Hope you all are in the middle of a great week.
I am thankful for such a good night last night. DH and I picked up DS from daycare on our bikes, took a nice ride around town, and then hit the farmer's market for dinner and more play time. We all went to bed happy.
I am also so happy to have found some extra energy this week. Last week I was really dragging but this week I feel strong and so much more with it. 31 weeks pregnant feels a lot better than 30 to me for some reason.
I have reached the point in my training that I just need to conquer 2 more LONG LONG runs and then its taper time. I cannot wait for tapering this time around!
Its going to be super cool here the next few days. I excited to get a long run in the cool weather so I can really assess where I am without super heat.
I am thankful for my friend who took me on a bike ride this morning that was one of the loops for my tri this weekend, and then ran a little with me so i can say that now ive done one brick we also did some faux transitions. I love her.
However, the course has way more hills (its the downhills that scare me!) than i anticipated. Yikes! She kept yelling "dont break! Dont break!" im a wuss on the bike lol

I'm thankful that it was a holiday here, so we had Thursday off. I was able to scour the mall and finally find a battery for my scale. I weighed myself for the first time in months and weighed less than expected. Yay!
I'm also thankful for our nanny/helper who takes care of a bunch of household chores, allowing me to get my workouts in.
I'm thankful for my coworkers who met today to discuss and devise a behavior matrix, discipline matrix and a rewards program for our school. It was the most I have ever seen accomplished at a school meeting in a single day We were thorough, quick and concise. We are going to have a great year at school. Oh and I was the one who spearheaded this whole thing!
I'm thankful that I get to spend Saturday with family. Two of my mom's aunts & two of her cousins are going to be at her house, so we're driving down for the day. My nanny (mom's mom) died when I was 7, and her sister has been like a grandma to me growing up. I love her to pieces, and I can't wait to see her. 88 years old, and the last time I saw her, she was the only one drinking grapefruit basil martinis with me into the evening. LOL I also get to see my sister & her family (so my nieces, yay!)
I am also thankful that after tomorrow, I only have to get through 3.5 days of work before I have 13 glorious days off.
