I'm a little punch drunk because today is my last day of work until September 3.

So I was listening to an iTunes station of the top 50 alternative songs for the week or something, and I'm pretty sure I'm a hipster now. Here are my current favorite songs.

Good to know! I like their stuff from like 10-15 years ago, but I haven't really listened to anything that's come out in the last 5 years.

I'm developing kind of an obsession with Postmodern Jukebox.


They take 'contemporary' songs and do them in retro styles. They're music history geeks, so it's all fairly accurate. And silly. And fun.

The last show I went to was S. Carey at the Casbah.

I've long aspired to be a hipster douche when it comes to music (even before they were known as such), but only since meeting bf can I even follow hipster douche music discussions.
