Many of my friends are h&f inclined in some way. I have a bunch of friends who are very into yoga (which im not), a few who bike a lot, and a bunch of friends that run - from semi-regularly, to nuts like me. But thats excluding my friends ive met through h&f activities like running and swimming.
I ha e friends who in no way have any sort of h&f aspect to their lives at all too.
Yes. There are people I work with that do triathlons and run, my bestie has been a yoga teacher for over 12 years and I have lots of friends on my tri team. I love that they get it as well!
I've made some good friends at the gym and have lots of neighbors that run. Most of DH's work friends are active by the nature of the job. I'd say it is a 50/50 mix for us, including friends and family. Some people definitely think we (okay, mostly me) over do it.
Pretty much all my friends run marathons and about half do tris as well. When we moved to this area I went to a blogger meet up (all running bloggers, none of whom blog anymore) and that's pretty much how I made all my friends here.

My close friends from college, not really. I made my h&f friends on here and in my running club. Oh and my sister and her boyfriend are runners and in the running club with me as well.
Yes, I don't actually workout with many of them, but most of my friends are very active. We met our neighbors because they were in a running club with my husband's best running friend and my husband's friend connected all of us. I feel a little bad for the husband's wife, cause she doesn't run and when we all get together we mainly talk about running.

Most of my friends I have met through H&F stuff (this board, neighborhood run group, etc), so that's pretty awesome. I kinda want to make friends at the gym but I feel like a dork just walking up to people and striking up a conversation.
The few we've met in TX are not so H&F inclined, but the ones from home are. My H ran in college so I got kind of sucked into that (although I already ran, just not on a team) and most of those guys have wives who are also runners.
I'm contemplating joining a running club here though for this purpose. We've been here 1.5 years and haven't met a lot of people, so I thought this would help! I actually work with a guy who also happens to live in my neighborhood whose wife is a runner. She missed BQ by 1:40ish last year. I think it would be like a match made in heaven, but they have 5 y/o twins and are always on the go, so I don't know if I'll ever actually meet her.

A year ago I would've said no, but a couple of my good friends have gotten into running and tris in the past year. I have a lot of H&F acquaintances through work, the gym, and my running club, but we're not close friends. I'd like to become better friends with some of them.
I'd say 75% of my friends are into H&F, mostly cycling but also some tris, yoga, running, hiking, etc. The other 25% are active but don't necessarily "workout to exercise." They may ride horses, garden, etc.
Many of my grad school friends are very into H&F, which is funny since I wasn't back then. I'm struggling to make new friends as an adult, so new friends I'm making now are mostly from me reaching out through things like running meet up groups.
Love of my life baby boy born 11/11. One and done not by choice; 3 years of TTC yielded 4 MMC and 2 CPs, through 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Focusing on making the world a better place instead...and running.

I guess so. Most of my close friends run/bike/do some type of physical activity. We might not all exercise together but it is nice to be able to talk about this IRL.
My closest workout buddy have tried to recruit one of our other friends to do a C25K and she started, got fitted for shoes, etc...but she kept getting "injured" and I don't think she is doing it anymore. But then she will make comments about how she feels left out when my friend and I do "exercise" things together (even though we try to include her).
I feel like a total loser, but I have made zero effort to make friends since we moved a year and a half ago... so I don't really have friends (not local ones at least). I think maybe I will make that be a goal for myself next year? Ugh, woes of being an introvert.
My closest friends are not really into H&F, which kind of sucks. My sister, mom, and I are super close and run together. But we don't live anywhere close to each other anymore, so its few and far between when we can get together. My H runs and does weight training. I do most of of my exercise alone (with the dogs) or with him.

I don't have any and it is disappointing. I love being active and wish I had friends to so these things with. I did just meet a new friend and she seems h&f. We've even been walking in the evenings a few nights after the kids are in bed.
I have a couple of local friends who are active, but we don't really do things together. I work with a guy and we talk a LOT about running and go to some races together.
I'm a loner when it comes to running/working out, even in group classes.
I met essentially all of my closest friends through a running group. I can almost always talk at least one of them into joining my for a workout.
Yep, this is me too. I love it. Outside of my running group, I work with a few cyclists, runners, gym goers, etc., and we have a few other friends who do some races here & there.
No, not really but that's why I have you guys! Seriously though I do wish I had close runner friends b/c most of the time when I talk anything running related people's eyes just glaze over.
