I'm finally online after a long-ass day. Therapy at 7:15, work at 8:30, PT (which I was almost late for) at 5. The training at work today kicked my ass and left me with bruises and a scrape on my knee, as well as extra pain in my hip. Whee!
Muddled I was thinking of going to Boston in November, not sure if I can swing an NYC jaunt too. I really want to come back though! I'm bummed that I didn't have time to escape from family when I was there in June.
Hi ladies! Work has been so insane tht I haven't been on much but I miss you all!!!
I'm in Dallas, fucking again. I hate this hole. Sorry in advance if anyone lives here. It's hot as all hell. GPSing directions anywhere never works. It took me 40 minutes just to get out of the airport Sunday night and to top it all off, my client is an asshole. Ok, vent over.
My news is the guy who I made out with a few weeks ago is coming to visit me the weekend after Labor Day and I'm super excited to see him.
I had two people back out of picking something up tonight (CL). Fucking hell. I shouldn't have counted my chickens.
I went from feeling like we were in a good place to now feeling like we are so not even close to ready. Holy fuck there is just stuff everywhere. Also if h mentions his gd spreadsheet again I may murder him. Good news is my mom single handedly packed nearly the entire kitchen today.
motzie I'm back at work in training all week, so I can't be online during the day. Dammit. Stupid work. I'm sorry your CLers didn't show up. That's lame. Good luck with the rest of your packing!
2.5 hours long! Apparently the department manager has to re-justify why he needs the position filled, so he's waiting to be able to make an offer. But it sounds like he got a crash course/traiing session, LOL. They better make a good offer after taking up all this time.
Also, the bf went to a coffee meeting in shorts and toms. It boggles my mind how different his industry is from mine. A casual interview for me is one where the interviewer invites me to take off my suit coat.
My industry sounds like your BF's. When I interviewed with my current company I really debated what to wear. First, I knew for a fact people routinely show up to work in shorts and flip flops at this company. Second, it was on a Friday and the tendency is to be even more casual on a Friday. At the same time, this was an interview so I certainly couldn't show up casual. I ended up wearing this dress that is very "corporatey". I was WAY overdressed and we all laugh about it now!
