thanks loco. my mom was acting like it wasn't a big deal. but i think it is.
Sorry. I think it is a big deal too. My MIL spells R's name wonky but never has a problem with C's name and it legit has 10 different spellings. It makes me ragey she has 2 grand kids it is not hard to remember 2 names with spelling.

I don't like football and my h doesn't take trips but man, Trudy, your UO's seem...aggressive? I'm picturing you pumping iron or something while you're typing about eating chips as a kid is crying about his missing dad.
We do the switch off sleep in thing, I hear her wake up but he goes to get her, shuts the door and keeps her quiet watching TV or something until I wake up. I can easily go back to sleep. Then I usually wake up around 9 and play with my phone until I really have to pee haha.
I love college football but I can't get into pro. Maybe bc I live in Detroit area lol. I watch every Michigan State game on TV at least, we do tailgate sometimes but it is rare nowadays. I am a bigger sports fan than my H, he's joins in for an excuse to drink beer during the day.

I tried again to plunge, and it's so not flushing. Wah..... This is not good.

Boil some water (or put water in the kettle if you have one). Pour it in the toilet, wait, then try to flush. Sometimes the hot water will dissolve the blockage enough to flush. (Just don't flush right away or it may overflow).

I'm confused. And sorry...? I'm not trying to be aggressive!
We each take a weekend morning. Most of the time I am awake when Leo gets up but I still hang out in the bed for a half hour so I don't have to deal with the insanity of two kids wanting to be fed, dog taken out, coffee being made. I wait until he has that done THEN I come down.
This weekend he let me sleep in both mornings, which was super nice of him.
I sleep in every single weekend day possible - feed baby, put in earplugs to drown the screaming, roll over. The older 2 usually get a granola bar from H and then he wakes me up when the baby is hungry again. Lately we've had breakfast when I wake up and then he goes to the pool for another couple hours with J&A. I looooove weekends

the dog. YES the dog is the straw that breaks the camels back sometimes!
one kid screaming for boobs the other screaming "i want SOMETHING. I dont know. I need SOMETHING for beksast" and then the DOG bounding around just happy, happy to be alive and dying to go out and pee and then seconds later dying to come inside again and seconds after that hungry as can be and doesn't mind who knows it. Then, after a nice bowl of brown pebbles, it's a great time to go OUTSIDE AGAIN!!!!!

Just the not being sad for their families thing. You take your hatred of football very seriously. With that and owning your h, you just had some amped up opinions today.
This is random, but - I really don't understand the concept of one parent sleeping in. We both hear K when he wakes up. Neither of us can fall back asleep at that time of morning. If one of us is sick or hardly slept the night before, maybe we can do it. But other than that, if the kid is up, everyone is up. I wish I could sleep in, but I guess it avoids the problem of figuring out whose turn it is.
Same here. Rise and shine, assholes, every damn day at 6 a.m. 7 if we're lucky. I would let DH sleep in, but he usually gets up with Butters anyway. He would let me sleep in, but I always feel bad when I hear him get up with Butters.
I think the concept of taking turns is fine, but it seems like there's a lot of bitching that goes on here when the men have their turns sleeping in, complete with plots to sic the children on them to wake them up. So, I guess I'd just rather get up than deal with any potential resentment.
I'm a night person and H is a morning person so we usually split our shifts that way. For motn wakeups we alternate. It works for us! We only have 1 day/week when we are both home so we can't split the weekend.
My morning poo clogged the upstairs toilet. DH will be the one to deal with it since my attempt at plunging did nothing but make a scary scene in the toilet. I hope no one is currently eating lunch.
talks of poo, vomit, blood and guts or anything of the sort never ruins my appetite. I'll just keep munching and be like "hmmm. ick. Chomp chomp. Gross! Chomp. man this is good pizza."
I wish Chris had work friends so he wouldn't give me shit for going out with mine. Yesterday Chris told me if I'd have been harder to get he would appreciate me more. Things are shitty here.
Say what? Hopefully he just had his panties in a bunch when he said this, but if he meant it, I'm really sorry. I hope thigns get better.
I don't really care about football, but I love the idea of football in fall-food, chili, looking forward to Sunday afternoons at home with the game for noise in the background.

We were fighting about this silly hall pass he gave me. I started to use it and he lost his shit and it has been a downward spiral of fighting and hurt feelings. Love it.

I hate football too. I wouldn't hate football so much if my H wasn't obsessed with it. Our football team is consistently terrible and he always gets upset when they lose. Also, he refuses to go anywhere on Sundays because the game is on. UGH
