I'm getting fixated on picking a coming home outfit for DS2. Any cute suggestions? It will be October so cool weather and a sleeper sounds easy but I haven't seen anything I love.
I was spending too much time debating this, but everything I really liked was more than I was willing to spend. So I bought this at Target and am giving it no more thought!
Our going home outfit was a massive fail. I picked out two really cute outfits, one boy and one girl since we were team green. Both newborn size. And DD was so little that it was massive on her. So her going home "outfit" ended up being a plain grey preemie onesie, lol.

*poof*
I was due the 27th with DD1 and had her on the 29th (we went home on Halloween). Due the 29th with DD2 and had her the 30th and went home on 11/1 (but she wore the sleeper on Halloween too!)

She came home in a sleeper. What about something like this? It's cute and cozy but not necessarily a sleeper.
I love the little outfits like that but I wasn't sure if I would feel like I had to bring socks to go with it? Like all of the old ladies would pop out of nowhere to gasp if I just covered him in a blanket and skipped socks lol.
Don't overthink it. Coming home outfits are special because of the event, not because of the outfit themselves, kwim?
DD wore a thin green/orange/white striped sleeper with a little jacket over it. Someone one gifted it to us and I thought it was the cutest so I used it...ha.
DS wore a fuzzy red and white sleeper with a bear on it. He was born 3 days after Valentine's Day and it was $2.99 at Target. It was also cute and worked. Also looks good in his shadow box.

I brought a newborn sized sleeper. DD was super long and we had to stuff her in it to get her home. Looking back, we should have just kept her in a onesie (but she was a summer baby).
I brought three outfits to the hospital, but only used two. A sleeper for his Bella Baby newborn pics, and a onesie and pants to go home in (in July) with his widdle baybee hospital hat.
DD came home on July 4. I had a cute Stars and Stripes dress from Baby Gap that I put her in but it was gigantic and probably not super comfortable so she was back in something soft soon after.
