I'm about to schedule my next Architectural Registration exam before taking a break for my maternity leave. This exam is the hardest exam out of the 7, so I've been delaying the crap out of it. I finally settled for Sept. 25th in the afternoon when I realized I will be 38 weeks . The other days that are okay are for 8am and I suck at tests in the morning (unless I go to another testing center).
How late would you all schedule an exam if you were pregnant? I know I will be stressed about the exam no matter when I take it, but I don't want to give birth in the middle of the testing center, lol. I don't want to delay it after my maternity leave because I've been studying this section for 3 1/2 months.

I did my big huge professional license exam around 32/34 weeks. I liked it because then afterwards I felt like I could actually focus on the baby and not the test.
But if you don't think you'll be ready 32-34 weeks- it's better to do it later so you feel more confident.

I definitely won't be ready when I'm 34 weeks. That gives me less than a week before the exam . I guess I will use my trip this weekend to seriously study and be ready for 38 weeks at the latest.

yeah, I didn't look at your ticker when I posted. whoops!
And study study study - if you've done 3 1/2 months already, I bet you're more prepared then you are giving yourself credit for. I don't know if your test has cds you can listen to - but I liked listening to those for mine while painting the baby's room and doing other baby prep work. You can do this. Get it done!
How long will the test take? I was really uncomfortable sitting for long periods at 38 weeks.
Yeah this is the part that would worry me. The thought of sitting in a hard chair for hours at 38 weeks while trying to take a very important test does not sound at all like a good idea. At that stage I was constantly peeing and thirsty and DS was kicking me non stop and I was generally just a hot mess.

The test is 5 1/2 hours with a scheduled 15 minute break in between. Usually with these exams, I don't use the full hours (I'll probably be done at 3 hours). I can take random breaks if I need one, but my exam clock will still be rolling.
I know I should be ready by now with all the studying I have done, so I just need to buckle down.

There's no way that would have worked for me, but I had my son at 38 and 5 days.
